I have half of one wall left and ran out of paint. Omg. I'm ready to scream!!! Literally maybe 3 rollers full and I would be done!!! Minus touch ups.

Today’s a downer of a day— my mom’s been gone for 9 years. Still feels like yesterday and also a lifetime ago. I generally keep busy on this day, and that helps.

dapostrophe, yes, holidays are really hard for me now with my Dad gone. I always try to pull my shit together for Cadence though. Like, it doesn't matter what we are dealing with, Cadence shouldn't have to "deal" with it as well. I want her to have good holiday memories and I def. feel like he is barely even phoning it in.

Hi hi - this morning was my day to do a craft for J's class. We made pomanders and it was a total hit. All the kids were able to do it, even the younger ones. Stick cloves in oranges and put a ribbon on it and voila!

My whole team is remote. I will eat shortly and then head up to the post office for stamps and get my cards out. We have a busy week prepping for guests on Friday. I went through my clothes yesterday and am parting with suits I purchased for my interviews for my first professional job..in 2007.

Hi guys. S and I ran errands this morning, I had to buy a few things because we are going to make/decorate Christmas cookies this afternoon. I almost got into a fight at target. I wanted a set of cookie cutters that were out on the shelf so the associate had to call the back room to have them brought up to customer service. I walk up there and was waiting to pick them up because both associates were with someone. When one freed up this guy, standing like 15-20 feet from the “line” says to me “I’m next”. I told him I was just picking up something and that if he was next he should be standing in line, not 15ft away (I was feeling feisty I guess) and he snarked back at me. I literally thought he was waiting for the lady that was doing a return or for someone in the bathroom, which was right behind him. I didn’t say anything else to him and walked away after I got my cutters.

Hi. We had the MOPS Christmas party/meeting this morning.

Now I am home and lying in bed before heading to get the kids at school; I’m not sure if I’m coming down with a bug or just ate something that disagreed with me (I’m thinking greasy popcorn last night?) but my stomach is displeased. DH is flying this afternoon but I put him in charge of dinner. Once I get C down for her nap I’m going to put in a movie for B and lie back down.

Not really sure about other restaurants. I’ve never really been to Destin, just surrounding areas and that restaurant I’ve been to in Orange Beach, but knew they had a location in Destin. Sorry I’m no further help! Could you maybe print the menu off and stick it in a card with cash and tell them it’s for them to use at that restaurant.

I got the highest quality sherwin William's paint. Some colors are only one coat but it's super durable and wipe able so that is why I chose it. This grey though, Does not cover well.

Hi! I took the morning off to wrap and add to the cookie dough collection in my freezer. My cold is still pretty awful and I'm losing hope for NOT being a disaster on Wednesday and Thursday when I'm once again stuck in a meeting room with some Calgary co-workers and some clients. Or maybe I should say that they are stuck in a room with me. Yikes.

Anyhow I took DH on our date last night, the one I had to plan. We finished dinner before the boys were in bed so we made a second stop for dessert and another drink. I was definitely tipsy by the time we got home but it was really fun. We still have things to work through but they don't feel so big right now.
