I was at N’s preschool most of the morning then went to lunch with Dh. Now I’m full and don’t want to work. My big sale finally closed so I’m working on that and my boss if being a dimwit per usual and making things difficult.

this week will fly by though, and then I’m off until the 2nd so there’s that too look forward too!

Thanks everyone. I’m relatively private about it and I tend not to do anything outright for myself or her memory on this kind of anniversary, but her sister and my cousins do. It’s what they need, but it tends to play with my emotions bc it’s right there on social media. I may have to remember for next year to avoid sm until I’m at least caffeinated.

Rant ahead: God damnit, I’m so f@cking pissed at klong11’s husband. I swear he is the only other husband that pisses me off as much as MH does. And i never even met him! Why would he take pto and not consult his family?! And it’s the holidays, the main time of year that people do family stuff. I seriously want to slap him.

And Katie, you are amazing friend and mother. I know it’s hard with your Dad not here, but you are providing C with the happiness and stability that all kids deserve. We are here for you.

Atticus decided that he needs a M&D giant tiger plush from Santa. He made up his mind this morning, and he was very firm.

I found them on Target, but it can't get here until the 26th.

I can't find them anywhere else and have them get here on time. Anybody seen them around while out and about at any stores?

It’s not M&D but IKEA has large plush animals if you have one near you.

cagoldi is there a Target nearby that has them in stock. You can buy online and do in store pickup. My Target had a bunch still as of Friday.

One other thought klong11. What is the mental toll of having one foot out the door or a heavy backed camel? Is it worth it? You don’t have to answer. Just some thoughts.


I’ve had thoughts before of moving on but my relapse made me realize that I truly love him so much and I was heartbroken that I hurt him. He still drives me nuts and we need therapy as soon as I feel mentally equipped but we have discussed and we both are on the same page and want to work through it.

Thank you everyone. I told him my feelings of how I was offended he didn't tell me he was taking time off and that I feel like Cadence and I are not important to him.
First he basically said my feelings we're wrong, then he came back and said rather than defend himself he's just going to show us that we are in fact important.
I've heard it before, so I don't put much weight on it, so we'll see.

snoopmommymom thank you. That is what I was feeling too. Holidays are for family. We already didn't spend Thanksgiving together, so I wanted to try and make Christmas more family oriented. I even agreed to go to his sister's!

Welp, I don't know what I've got, but it's not just a queasy stomach from greasy popcorn :/ I've been in bed since we got home from school with a fever and chills. The worst. This is the first time I've felt up to even sitting up. 

Hopefully b/n this and the kids' colds last week we are getting everything out of the way by Christmas, right? RIGHT?! (no broken legs for christmas again, please and thank you).

cagoldi any specialty toy shops near you? Maybe you could call around as opposed to driving all over creation, but I feel like those jumbo animals are things I usually see at cute little family-owned toy stores.

joelies Glad you and your H had a nice night out and reconnected a bit; date nights are SO important imo so I'm glad you are prioritizing that

LOL. Hopefully it's just power of suggestion...mind over matter, Mr Wine!! 

My H said a couple guys were out or left early today, and the preschool parking lot/hallways have seem downright deserted lately, so something is definitely going around here. I just hope the kids don't get this.
