What a day... I went to running group early so I could get 12 in this morning then I took Chase to the post office and then to the mall. We got a bit of shopping done plus he used some new potties and did a lot of walking. DH had taken them to the trampoline park while I was running, so Chase passed out on the ride home. I relaxed and watched the Hallmark channel until DH and Colin got home from my ILs (with cookies to share) and I got pulled into a few rounds of Zingo. Now we're about to get ready to go to the Yale/Union hockey game. I'm exhausted but at least the kids are having a blast. LOL.

I lost my festive edge this afternoon. MH is eeyore-ing around. Sometimes I feel like he has no definition of rally.
Josie turns down every Christmas movie idea I give with some lame excuse. I know she’s scared, but she has to try.
Charlie’s fine. Just tired from waking up so early. Bedtime in an hour!

I’m sorry about the sick kids wineallthetime and kim22. I hope you feel better snoopmommymom and Sunny41. Today was long. I woke up to C yelling “Yoo-hoo” repeatedly from the top of the stairs. He said he was playing hide and seek with Max and Max couldn’t find him. He’s a cat. He was asleep. Then we had Max’s senior exam and it was bad. Nothing found but he’s dropped another half a pound in six months. We are hoping he can get through the holidays. Bloodwork will be in early next week but we are expecting his rental failure to be worse. Then we went home and Dh had just woken up at 10:45 so we had to wait for him to get ready and then headed to my parents so C could play with his cousins. Then we drove 1.5 hours to my cousins sons 2nd bday party. A good chunk of the family was going and she’s a single mom and I wanted to support. It was fun and C had a great time. We left there around 4:45 and are about 15mins from home now. We stopped for takeout on the way home. C has been awake the whole way home and making obnoxious noises from the back. He’s also coughing and sucking up his boogers every three seconds. Dh is sneezing without covering his mouth. He never does but in a closed car it kills me. He’s also very burpy. I NEED out of this car! Melatonin as soon as we get in. I also plan to have fake stomach issues and hide in the bathroom while Dh asks C a thousand times what he wants for dinner because he didn’t want take out. Sigh. Tl; dr: long day and my fam is driving me batty |

Also Dh listens to pop music and it kills my soul after an hour in the car. If I hear Halsey, Kesha, or Fall Out Boy one more time 😡

Also counting down to bedtime. Such a long day for me and I am trying to ditch a headache.
We got to our destination around 1030 last night and didn’t get to sleep until 12. We had an early morning to take a campus tour in the worst weather... rainy and cold... and I had to keep the kids occupied in places not ideal for kids. I ditched everyone after lunch to do a little shopping.
We are about to head out to dinner and I think I will try to see if the kids will go to bed early.

I cleaned while they were gone and brought out some of my Dad's Christmas houses that I'm going to keep.
Cadence had fun at the mall. They said hi to Santa, watched a band play, shared a banana split and had smoothies.
We just finished pizza, although Cadence is still eating. She's eating more than me!

7:15 and I had all 3 kids asleep. 7:50 and I'm laying in bed with a glass of wine. If I had cheesecake life would be perfect!!

I know I told you guys before about my recurring fevers. Started noticing in June anywhere from 99-100.8 most nights. Bloodwork good, had that node removed and it was good. Basically told to monitor. I haven’t paid much attention since my life was in the shitter a bit there but then on Wednesday I realized I’m having a ton of headaches again so I took my temp and it was 101.3. It’s been high the rest of the week but tonight it’s 102. I’m hoping I break with some illness here to explain it. I only have headaches that I think are caused my the fever and some upper back pain. No other issues and generally feel good until the headache hits and I tank.
So what specialist would I go to for this? I think I even asked this before but forgot. My PCP is clearly stumped.
