We stumbled upon a really cute Netflix show called "If I Were An Animal." It's a nature program narrated by kids and doesn't show any gore, animals being eaten or injured, etc. The boys love it. Thank you for this recommendation! The kids are watching it with MH as a bedtime show, and they’re all just loving it. Totally our pace! |

We are at the party. No other kid from the class is here. The teachers are. I feel kind of bad for the kid.

Hi hi - super rainy day for the inspection, but found a tiny leak in roof because of it, so I'm glad it rained. It seemed smaller than we remember it, but still plenty of space. My friend from work watched the kids, which resulted in me frantically cleaning prior to her arrival. J talked her ear off apparently and pooped several times on her watch. She claims we can't pay her, but she had some decent gift cards coming her way, total lifesaver.

Also, hi! I’ve been working half a day each day this weekend then coming home and napping because I still feel like garbage. Hopefully I am rejuvenated tomorrow because I have to put in a full days work.

Guise, I just started bawling reading the books "Ida, always". N randomly picked it out at the library, and I read it to j tonight not knowing it is about a polar bear dying. Woof, it was rough. I posted to IG stories and my cousin, who is a pediatric nurse said they give that book to siblings at her children's hospital. 😭😭😭. It is a beautiful book though, but still, was not prepared for a good cry tonight.

Man, I felt so sad for the birthday boy. Besides LO only kids at the party were his family. He invited all the classes in preschool. It started at 3, we left at 530 because They hadn’t even cut the cake. I’m not messing with bedtime routine...
They had Captain America at the party and a bounce house so that was nice. But the birthday boy kept telling me that LO hit him. I did see LO push him but only after he kicked and hit LO. I just reminded LO to get away from him if he was being naughty not fight back. After that conversation LO just stayed away from him.

I knew lo’s girlfriend wasn’t going because LO asked her and she said she couldn’t go because her mom said no. Her mom and I both talked to the director last year about this boy teaching our kids bad things. I’m just surprised that no one else because none of the other parents said anything. Lo’s teacher last year said she was surprised we were there. I told her I was too but I felt that It was the right thing todo. Didn’t want LO to exclude anyone and I didn’t want LO to feel excluded. |

I still can’t make it through it without crying. But it’s a great book to help explain death. |

The golf tournament was pretty boring but it was fine. It was an interesting new experience. When we got home H was bouncing off the walls, I think grandma and grandpa gave her a little too much sugar. After supper we went on a long walk/ bike ride to attempt to wear her out. Both girls are in bed now.

I thought it was odd for the teachers to be invited too but it’s a small preschool. Between the 5 classes there is less then 100 students. He’s a jerk. He starts problems waits for the kid to push back or yell then tattles. He also taught most of his class how to use the middle finger and taught LO his first curse word. |

Oh I did not pretend.. he threw me under the bus earlier with his parents coming so I held nothing back. His mom offered to come cook dinner or have us over. I told A I didnt want her cooking here because i have to clean house before we leave and didnt need more to clean. And he didnt want to go there so i said "text your mom and tell her not tonight" she calls me 10 minutes after he storms out of the house and says shes cooking it at her house and will be over in an hour. WTF. But mil and fil were also fighting so they didnt even notice. |

C is on the phone with the nurses line. He’s having an allergic reaction to the medicine they gave him. Fingers cross they get him an appointment tomorrow morning first thing.
