I volunteered to watch my nephews today from 8am-2pm. But we were out super late last night and my kids are still out. Luckily they're playing peacefully while I sit on the couch.. it's almost easier with just them. No fighting lol.
After they leave my mil is coming to watch my boys so we can get some stuff out of storage and give our dining table to Alex's brother.

It’s so cold this morning. I’m burning a fall candle and will make a big pot of chili for dinner tonight. This sounds so nice! I need to go get a new fall candle. |

Morning!
I just woke up; poor DH was up with our little early-bird (C) at 5:30 so he tagged out and went back to bed. I didn't even hear them stir this morning.
I had the weirdest dreams last night; the one I remember most vividly is that we hosted a pre-game party before a football game at our house, and DH hired a band. It rained all day and no one came to the party, so they just played out in the yard; came time to pay them and it was $8000. That one woke me up, lol.

Cadence joined me at 5 again. This time she went back to sleep and didn't wake up again until a few minutes ago.
We'll go grab some breakfast and there's a bday party around noon at a park for one of her school friends. Should be a fun time, but possibly muddy.

X woke up screaming at 1:30. He had somehow managed to partially tear loose his fitted sheet and was trapped in it. Kind of scary for both of us.
When I walked into his room to help, he clapped and danced. Then he was up for a good two hours before he was able to fall asleep again.
I think we just have a visit with Grandpa and a Target run on the agenda.

Morning. DH, my ILs and I are going to a big golf tournament today, I won tickets from work. It’s the champions tour so it’s all the old dudes. My dad and step mom are going to watch the girls while we are there. Today is baby Owen’s birthday, he would be 2 today. I’m considering taking the girls out to the cemetery but I haven’t decided if we will go or not.

We stumbled upon a really cute Netflix show called "If I Were An Animal." It's a nature program narrated by kids and doesn't show any gore, animals being eaten or injured, etc. The boys love it.

LO woke up E and I this morning. I wish I drank coffee. C has work today. LO has a birthday party to go to this afternoon. Which means I need to get dressed in something nice since I will meet more of the parents from school. I also need to meal plan and then go grocery shopping. Plus laundry need to get finished.

guster how was the pickle pizza? I admit I intrigued We were all fans of it here. Same sauce and cheese on each (a garlic cream and pepper jack cheese), but th straight dill pickle topping was better than the dill pickle and spicy garlic pickle topping. |

Day 2 at Disney. It’s going well. Dh is a bit of a grump sometimes but I’m trying not to over schedule us so h can have breaks. Since the crowds are less intense we were able to do some rides twice, which was awesome. Tonight we have the Mickeys not so scary Halloween party. Hopefully we can nap a bit before it since it’s a long night. Last night we went to bed around midnight.

MH is back home. He seems worn out though so I’m waiting a bit before I cut out to go to the movies.

A musician at my parents' club gave B one a couple years back; it has gone on several little mini vacations to my dresser drawer since then. My aunt gave him ANOTHER one in his Easter basket this year that of course C adopted, so now they can have concerts.  I hope you get out to your movie soon! |

One of MH step brothers plays harmonica in a band and is way into it. He gifted S one a few years ago and told us he understands if it gets lost

A and I ended up fighting while working on the storage unit so that was fun. Especially in front of his brother. Everything that has been his responsibility on the house gets delayed because he will not call people!!! I end up handling everything. And when I do then he gets upset that I took over. But if I nag because it's not getting done he's mad about that too. I can.not.win.

Hello from my couch. DH and I had such a great time in the city. We slept in, had a quick bite and got a last bit of people watching in, and still got home just past noon. The kids have been a bit crazy though Colin was great when the 2 of us went to TJMaxx and the grocery store. We got a new wreath for the fall, some new clothes for both boys, and Halloween socks for everyone. Now we're just relaxing with golf and football on TV, hoping the boys can behave for a few hours.

The recycle people are trying to shame me by placing the only glass recycle drop off in a church parking lot.
