Ok STM please give me recommendations on video monitors. We had a cheapo monitor for DD that I hated and I want a nice, but affordable video monitor with decent signal connection We have the Motorola one. It was some good features, but also some quirks. The cameras move all around and it has decent range. The quirks are that it has major WiFi/microwave interference and 3.5 years in, the battery is shot. This does 2+ cameras, but scans instead of split screen. I’m going to get the infant optics one to try out for comparison. It’s not a big deal currently, but with a baby, I’d like the option of having the monitor by the bed instead of across the room where our receiver has to sit for good reception now (due to WiFi interference from my phone next to the bed). I have yet to find my perfect monitor.

There's an app that goes with it, that's how we kept an eye on DD. We could login to the app from anywhere and see, so even if we were out and someone else was watching her, we could check in to make sure she was asleep, etc.

Does that one operate on WiFi?

Oh I love that option. Does that one operate on WiFi? It's better with WiFi but doesn't necessarily need it to use the app. The initial set up needs internet tho.

It just uses data if you login while not on WiFi. The actual monitor plugs into the wall, it's not wireless or anything.
