So it begins, boss B called me last night and started handing off things to me to do for today. I didn’t even get a week. Which is fine but it proved my point I made to her and Boss L on Tuesday. Hopefully this means I will be able to attend meetings again.

Last night when I tried to put Evie to sleep, something in her room was randomly playing 'Happy Birthday.' The first time it happened, I had just gotten off her bed and it started playing. I could narrow down where it was coming from, but couldn't find it. So I laid back in bed with her. This time, when I got out of her bed, I walked out of her room, and it started up again, scaring the shit out of her, so she just slept in our bed. I laid back in her bed, took books off the shelves I think it's coming from, can't find a damn thing that plays that song. I told my dad and step mom, that it's their job today to find the culprit.

I need to call the vet this morning. My dog has started peeing and pooping all over at night. I think her tumor has gotten quite a bit larger because her stomach looks quite a bit bigger. I'm dreading this.

B slept til 8--poor kid was wiped out--so I've had a very leisurely morning.

I'm going to try to get a workout in this morning (if I never report back here, it's b/c I died from the exertion ) B has requested we go to an indoor playground that it's tough to take both kids to, so we might do that after school.

On a lighter note, the 'happy birthday' thing is so weird. Musical greeting card, maybe? We have a Fisher Price Little People dollhouse that randomly plays this song with the lyrics, "put your hands, put your hands, put your hands up!" Always happens at night and never fails to freak me out; thankfully we know what it is, though!

flamingo I don't remember her getting a card that plays that, but it could be it, on the bookshelf. It's just weird that it went off TWICE. We did go through quite a few books last night, so I hope that's it, easy to dispose of.

mwhip LO has a puzzle that makes a noise when the lights go out. It might be something like that.

Morning! They just took M2 back. He was very calm and not at all irritable all morning. I think the ride on cars helped his mind to be occupied and not thinking about milk or food. He went to the nurse no problem and I’m glad because I would have been a mess if he was crying.

Cadence was sitting on my bed this morning throwing the ball for "Martha Badartha" and she looks at me and goes, "aww that little f&$#er"....uh, wut?
So I told her not to use that word any more.
Then when I told mh used "effer" and he was all, "I never say that"
He thought I meant she actually said effer and not f#@$er.

Time for us to all watch our mouths. Probably me... I think I said it when we were in the car yesterday and I almost got sideswiped by some idiot not paying attention.

No sonogram today, the vet that does that isn't in. But I am taking her in at 3:30 for a follow up.

A minute or two after I posted the doc came in and said he was done. Had a double ear infection. They should bring him back to me any minute now.

Also there is a kid a few rooms down from us that resembles cagoldi’s X. When I first saw his face I had to do a double take. Lol

M slept 45 minutes later than he normally does so preschool must have wore him out. J also slept late but that's because he was up all night tossing and turning. I didn't sleep at all! And proof I'm exhausted: I just tried to put in a second tampon. Ouch... Painting today, errands and lots of paper work. A has to stay up all night tonight because he starts night shift tomorrow. I'm going to try and convince him to install our appliance since he'll be up lol.

Good morning!

Not much going on today. Gymnastics for Josie this morning, and another sparkly printed spangled leotard.
There’s a chance of thunderstorms, otherwise I’m going to take the kids to play at the beach for a bit.
There is a major road closure in this area. Hotel and H goes to and from work. There are two alternate routes. One will take 50 minutes and is all highway, and the other will take 35, but is one of the scariest country roads I’ve ever driven on. I have such anxiety about his new commute for the next few weeks.

And I'm nervous for E at Preschool today. My dad said she was nervous when he dropped her off, but she didn't cry. She has show and tell today, I think she's scared to talk in front of the other kids and I'm sure she will cry. She told me multiple times that she didn't want to go to school today.

Morning! It's so freaking HOT here. Schools are letting kids out 2 hours early because the buildings are holding on to so much heat, since it hasn't been cooling off over night. It's supposed to break tonight, so we'll see. Now I'm waiting to see when they reschedule parent teacher night - I really want to visit with Colin's teacher and hear more about how their day is structured.

@klongoria.... it happens. I did the same thing yesterday in the car but I said douche bag. Immediately followed up by Gunner with: 'Douche bag!! What's a douche bag!?' Lol.

The nurse that does my infusions has a child that looks EXACTLY like X. It's crazy. One day she came downstairs and saw him on the couch and you would swear she had seen a ghost. She said "he looks just like my Teddy. I'll send you a picture." I thought, yeah right, can't be that similar.

Then I got the picture and whoa. They could be identical twins.

I’m not even at work and I’m already working. One of our important systems had a planned power outage and never came back up. Boss B has been up all night so now I’m tagging in. I hope I can resolve it quickly or it’s going to be a rough day.

Morning. Girls are both at school and I’m at the doctor waiting to be seen. AF showed up this morning and I woke up with a massive headache. When I get done here I’m probably going to go back home and lay down for a while. This afternoon I think I’m going to take the girls to a park to play and then I work tonight. Any suggestions on a quick and easy meal I can make with ground beef for supper?
