Is it? I refer to ground beef as hamburger too. Who knew? I know my mom always called it hamburger growing up. "Kate go get 2 lbs of hamburger from the freezer" is a phrase I heard often lol. When I write a grocery list I call it ground beef though. Weird. Wait. I call it ground beef in it's original form, but if I mold it into patties it's then a hamburger (unless you add cheese, then cheeseburger). This is normal, yes?

We call it hamburger in its uncooked form, then a cheeseburger when pattied. No one here eats uncheesed hamburgers. Don't worry lfig, i gave a feeling there is lots of room on our bench.

R started working at point blank. A local shooting range and gun Store. He's only been there 2 weeks. There was a shooting in down town Cincinnati this morning and the shooter bought it at the store R works at. ATF swarmed them today going through there computer system and back ground checks. Everything was by the book but still crazy. Quoting because turns out R was the safety personnel when the guy was using the new gun.

Technically yes you are correct. But I agree with mwhip patties are cheeseburgers and everyone eats cheese on their burgers. Unless you run out of cheese and then still call them cheeseburgers.

I love these organization stations! MH would never go for it though because he’s a minimalist. He did make a charging station out of a top drawer in our kitchen so we can charge things and it stays hidden. mskatiep i laughed that you called ground beef “hamburger,” or at least i think that’s what you meant. It’s so Midwest. I can see my friends back home saying it. That’s usually what I call it if I’m talking to someone about it.

Every now and then I think I say hamburger meat, but for the most part DH and I say ground beef. My mom sometimes calls it ground chuck, which is how it's labeled in grocery stores down here.
Just reporting from below the Mason-Dixon...

Work never got better. S is angry because she had to go to a training only the two new guys and her had to go to. K (who came in after her) and I covered the office. Oh and I wrote part of the deck they used so that didn’t help either.
It is day 3 and I’m already doing manager work.

chrisy01 we have that same dress! I'll have to see if it's a six or nine month. If six, we can coordinate so the girls are matching on our next outing. I can't believe I'm one of those people now, but girl clothes are so fun.

I feel like a creepy lurker just popping in. We recently booked for WDW too (in APR). I'm so excited! This will be our second trip there but the first was with a 5 mo so we didn't get to experience a lot. We're not telling the girls until we leave which is going to be hard for me. I could never do that. I’m too excited and C and I like to plan our day together. We watch videos of rides and look a pictures online of what we will do and see. It's hard. We did it that way last time and MH wants to do it again. However, I'm a Disney geek so we watch ride and parade videos on YouTube normally so it doesn't throw then off. 😆

Ugh. Related to the great hamburger/ground beef debate, Madison doesn't have the school lunch calendar yet. I make her lunch 2/3 of the time but she forgot her lunch box on the first day so yesterday she had school lunch. She said lunch was hamburgers and she ate one and liked it. 🤢🤢 Beef grosses me out so much. I can't stand the smell. MH rarely cooks it since he's the only one who eats it. But now I might be alone on my mostly vegetarian island because Cass already loves ham.

I’m sure there are plenty online, but I sautéed spinach in garlic and oil. I let it cool down and mixed it with three eggs, feta, ground turkey and some milk soaked bread (it’s how I make meatballs, you could use breadcrumbs too). I browned them in a pan and then threw them in the oven to cook through.
