I had a teeth cleaning this morning and just got into the office. I spoke to the dentist about M's teeth and she definitely calmed me down. She got onto me about my wisdom teeth though so I guess I'll be getting those out later this year... Are your teeth in? I don't understand why you would need them out unless they are bothering your or rotten? But I had mine out in high school, so I don't know much about them. They came in while I was in college, but I only have my top ones. My bottom ones were taken out when I was 8. So they don't have anything to hit up against and just continue to drop down. I've never done anything about it because they're not causing me any problems and I had to have all my teeth pulled by the dentist as a kid and have been procrastinating on getting these out. Anyway, they've dropped down even more now and are starting to shift so it could cause problems for the alignment of my other teeth.

tgrimes , are yours In? I have all 4 of mine and have had some dentists recommend removing them and others not... Yes. My coworker who is 60 just had hers out because they were starting to shift. I don't think it's a problem until it's a problem. But more than likely you'd probably need them out eventually, I suppose.

Hi hi -took the kids to the dentist and j did not do great. He was whining that it hurt before she even touched him. So basically she brushed his teeth, flossed, and out flouride on...n was fine enough for her age, she only screamed when I made her put a book away. I asked j why he wasn't brave and k felt bad bc he said well the dentist said I did great...
Oh we finally booked a place on the cape and 2 hours later I see there is a freaking hurricane threatening the east coast. Of course there is..

OH! I was just walking back from lunch and a car was pulled over and an old man kind of yelled to get my attention...so I assume he wanted directions. He freaking said "can I snuggle your thighs?" And I assumed I heard wrong and he said it again! Like legit 75-80 year old white guy in the middle of the day in a busy part of town. Wtaf🤮

dapostrophe it drives me nuts when I text or email someone a question and they call to respond (because it’s usually going to be long-winded). No! I specifically used the mode of communication that I chose for a reason—DNW to talk on the phone.

I'm currently spiraling on Home Command Centres, everything is really speaking to me. Charging centre, organized school papers, YES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Who here has one? Love it? Hate it? Anything you'd change? Add? I love this stuff, so I'm drooling. It's like my foreplay.

We are at the indoor playground; of course now that school is back in session there’s hardly anyone here so that means mommy=playmate. Yay. I just wanted to read my book and play on my phone, gosh!
I think we’re going to get Chipotle for dinner, because it’s really not worth cooking for just two of us, right?!
ETA: also, R.I.P., Burt Reynolds.

vino yes, talk Home Command Centers to me (said in breathy voice) Kidding. Mostly. I love the ones you can order from Pottery Barn. We didn’t want to invest for this house since there’s no guarantee it’ll all fit when we move, but I do have a bulletin board up over our kitchen desk with space for chargers, a key rack, and two wall mounted file boxes. One is for school-related stuff and one is for household stuff (coupons, etc). If I had room there I would bring my old-school flip calendar from where I hang it in the mud room. In my next house I might do a dry erase calendar in addition to what we have now.

I knew that'd get your attention flamingo . I currently have 2 white boards; one blank that we use for meal plans and the other is a calendar. I already have papers laying around with school information, so I need something to contain those. But obviously my searching led to wanting to build a custom home with this: or this or this

Hi all, crazy morning here. If life could slow down, just a tad that would be great. I finally reached out to our PsyD about getting Evie evaluated for ADHD. I have noticed certain behaviors seem to be getting more pronounced as she gets older, and I want to have her evaluated before kindergarten. We are scheduled next Monday for intake 😬 I have my aunt and cousin coming over for dinner, orientation tonight and just a million things. I was knocking things off my list, and I emailed MIL to ask her to forward me the details for a trip we have at the end of the month. There are alot of moving parts and she's been relaying bits of info to H, but...come on...that you know that info is not getting to me. And let's be real, we both know I'm the one doing all the planning. She immediatly calls me while I'm in the grocery store with Bea and leaves a VM to call her back. *Sigh* I just want to be like, please just respond to my email with the info I requested in a single, organized (preferably bullet pointed) email and we will chat another time...but I assume that would not go over well 😉My mother does this... it drives me crazy. I'll ask her for something and she'll have to call. Then she'll leave a message saying I'm calling you to tell you about X, I'll send you a text. Then she sends me a text saying I left you a message, please call me. Just send me the info! I would contact her back and say I would love to chat about it, but I'm worried I won't retain all the information! Can you send it over to me first so I can print it out and save it? That would help me so much!!!

vino, your earlier post reminded me that I have a Melissa and Doug - responsibility/behavior chart that I used for Potty training - it had 6 slots and like 40 options for things to put on there. I like the idea of money for each star. Then maybe once he reaches a certain amount we can go to Target or something. Thanks!

Every Sunday mooring we sit down and he counts his stars, we teach him that ex: 42 x .10 is $4.20 so that's his allowance, he puts it in his piggy bank and he understands that it is his money and he can choose to get something cool if he wants. Of course Julia helps' so she always gets $1 for helping with the stars. Next step is to teach him to put some in 'savings' I'm just not sure if I should get a wallet/change bag for his spending, then piggy bank for savings? I'm still thinking of options for that.

mamabear we went to DW in January and go again in a few weeks. C is very picky and is more of a snacker but loves breakfast. So we did breakfast at the hotel every morning and basically smacked through the day. Some nights we would get him a kids meal at dinner but not all. Almost if the restaurants have the same kids meal options: nuggets, pizza, Mac n cheese. Where are you staying? Are you doing the meal plan?

I dont judge how others live, at all. If I'm coming over it's for wine and good company, not to judge. Except your bathroom, everyone should clean their bathroom before guests come over. /gavel
