PW today: I’m trying to stay on top of dinners and meal planning for the year. I’m making a list of all of the proteins, veggies, and carb sides we like so I can pick and choose to make a meal.
And I’m also making a list of all of the whole meals we like so I can pluck that list as well.
For some reason I’m doing it by hand, and ability to digitize it so I can cut and paste it around.

Have you tried the invisibobbles? No. I’ve never even heard of them. Off to Google. I got mine from Sephora. They are very gentle on hair. My hair is pretty thick so it’s not super secure, but works well for when I want to throw my hair up quick. |

The concert was amazing. Rod Stewart really puts on a great show and the crowd is always fun. Cindy Lauper was good too and the girls about lost it when she sang Girls Just Want to Have Fun. RS made a nice tribute to McCain and they both made some nice but not too heavy political statements. The drive to the venue was one of the most beautiful I've ever been on but getting out of there was a nightmare

One trick I saw for getting them to go back to size quickly is to put them on a cabinet knob (or something similar) and blast them with hot air from your hair dryer. |

Wow, there is a lot that goes into hair ties! I guess this is what I have to look forward to. I'm keeping C's hair in the pageboy for the time being, though, b/c I love that look on little girls and I know at some point she'll want longer hair. Right now I can clip it with just the alligator clip on the bow, but her hairdresser said we can use the tiny tiny elastics when she has a bit more hair and then put the bow on top of that.

DH took S to acute care and she also has an ear infection. I’m going to be so sick of antibiotics by the end of the week.

Morning!! vino I’m glad J is ok!! So scary! Ask, I finished all the boys last night and it was super cute!! Our house is about 3400 sq ft and we use the downstairs 5th bedroom as a playroom. It is glorious. It was one of my requirements to have a space for all the toys so they weren’t out in the open. Of course now all C’s stuff is in the family room, but at least it’s mostly contained. I have no idea what we are doing today. I’m drinking a mimosa and dh is making eggs Benedict |

vino! Poor J! I’m glad she’s okay. Is she bruised? She’s not! It’s the weirdest thing cause she didn’t even get a red spot on her head right away so I had no idea where she hit. No large bump at all and the redness is down even today. |

Poor J vino! Was he just not holding onto her well? I’m glad she’s ok. nam2013 you are in the city right? We had 1100 in Boston and that was pretty big for the city. No storage space but it was livable. Don’t even get me started. I have no idea why he felt it was an ok decision to put her on his shoulders in a store anyway, I hate shoulder rides more than anything and if I had a dollar for every time I said ‘don’t’ or ‘be careful’ I’d be rich. |

I’m glad she’s ok vino. That’s so scary because they are high up when on shoulders. I also hate when MH puts them on his shoulders. |

Our house is 1800ish sf i think. Plus a small basement.
We have three small bedrooms upstairs then a master on the main level that we use as a family room. We also have a playroom on the main level that has three walls of windows. It’s too small to be a family room but perfect size for an office or playroom.
Even though our house is “small,” it feels big to us because 1. We were living in a “big” 800sf apartment in nyc prior to buying this house. And 2. We took down all the walls between the living room, formal dining, and kitchen to make an open floor plan and it’s great! We aren’t cramped into a small kitchen or living room.

Argh, of course our friends now want to come early. She was so adamant that the baby naps at 12 so we had to coordinate around that. And of course he napped early today. I haven't washed my hair in 4 days and DH is out mowing the lawn. Guess I should get on it.

guster yes. Landon has his own room, Lucas and Ryland share and then C has the nursery. When we put the offer in on the house the nursery was suppose to be the guest room, but then we found out I was pregnant. Landon’s room has a queen so if we have guests we give them his room.

Casually drop (pun intended) Julia’s story to your husbands; and the accident form that they made him fill out, which I of course didn’t jump to complete, at the hospital I think really drove it home. I’m pretty sure that there wont be anymore shoulder rides.

vino glad J is okay. We occasionally let e on our shoulders in stores, but she knows she has to be careful, and the one who isn't giving the ride, has to help get her down. Since shes now 55lbs, we wont be giving them, it kills our backs. Yard is mowed and weed eated. H told me he wants to go to his cousins for their end of the summer pool party. Awesome, now I have to figure out a side dish to take. Would throwing together a lettuce based salad with toppings of other veggies and bringing dressing be tacky? All the food people are bringing is very 'heavy' and not really on my diet, which I screwed yesterday.
