So for those whose husbands need to help more, my H started doing "nightly rounds". So every night before he comes to bed he'll take care of the recycling and garbage and deal with the dishes that haven't gotten done.
It's made a big difference. And made my want to hurt him less.

Random thoughts on cleaning:
I fold laundry while talking on the phone. I get so much shit done while I’m talking - I have airpods and just wander the house, cleaning. It goes by so fast... but this also means that no one is being loud or needs me so it’s pretty rare 😂
We also recently became bed-makers. Seeing my bed nice and clean has made my room stay cleaner.
I just bought a ton of laundry baskets at Aldi and they’ve been so helpful. Beyond their obvious purpose, it’s been threat to run around and fill one up with crap that needs to be taken up or down stairs.
I really need to go through all the cloths in my house. I’m going to put a bunch at a local consignment sale and maybe list some on Poshmark. Mostly I just want everything gone. I need to go through the baby clothes and decide what I’m keeping as keepsakes and/or for grandchildren.

We have a "nobody relaxes until the shit is done" rule. There are chores I usually do (laundry, bathrooms) and chores H usually does (garbage, packing lunches) but if one of us is done, the other is still working and there is still something on the list, the other one jumps in to finish. There is no "one spouse is still washing dishes and the other is having a beer on the couch". There's no resentment. We're both exhausted. Lol. Maybe being a dual working household helps with equity on this, idk. It works for us.

There are few things I hate more than prepping raw chicken to cook. There are so many quick and easy recipes with chicken breasts, but trimming the chicken and then trying not to touch anything and cleaning up after it so no one gets food poisoning is suchhhhh a pain.

Cleaning is so frustrating here too. Toddler works against me (probably on purpose), the dog and cat shed like it’s going out of fashion and they all bring dirt and crap in whenever I clean the floors.
I’m trying to set our house up for photos for Wednesday as we are selling and I can’t see how it’s going to get done (or rather stay done) ☹️😬😢

And I shipped the dog off to my MIL’s. I actually got 90% off it done today, such a relief.
