Morning ladies! Busy past few days! We painted Evie's room yesterday, she ended up staying with my mom last night, so she hasn't seen it yet. I think she will be happy with it.
H and I are starting our diet today. We went to the store last night and bought healthy food. I just took my measurements and pictures for progress.
Looks like our neighbors we don't really like are moving today...there is a big moving truck in front of their house. Not sad to see them go, but it will provide entertainment for us today.

Everyone slept til 730!
I'm doing some laundry and trying to get a few 7 minutes works outs in in between folding and stain treating.
No if plans today. We'll swim lots and return some books to the library. I think Josie will like a Where's Waldo book so I'm hoping they have some in the children's section.

Gymnastics and swim this morning, as per usual.
Then, we'll hop on the metrorail to go downtown to visit the toy museum and voodoo doughnuts.

Morning. So tired. Dd was up a lot and ds soaked his bed, because Dh didn’t put in his diaper correctly. I found out at midnight when I went to bed 😖. Errands, haircut for ds and groceries were on the agenda today. Birthday party this afternoon and hopefully a quiet evening after.

Morning! Work today then after work I have to make a 5 hour round trip to our place in Arkansas to drop something off. But I have a friend tagging along so it won’t be bad, we can gossip and catch up on the drive.
Today there is a fish fry/celebration of life, for a friend that passed away about 2 months ago. Another friend is coming in town for it and MH just told me this morning that he is staying at our house tonight! I don’t mind...I just wish he would have told me sooner. Because my parents were here and just left yesterday. So now I have to get the spare room ready for new company and change the bedclothes. All stuff I could have done last night when I was doing nothing...but instead I have to cram in time today to do it between working, the service, and heading to Arkansas. 😬

Good morning! We are leaving for vacation today. We are almost ready but stalling a bit because we can’t check in until 2 and since we have the dog, we can’t just go grab lunch while we wait like usual. C is napping now so I hope he doesn’t scream in the car. I’m driving the 3 youngest and H gets the oldest and the dog. Please everyone cross everything that DD doesn’t get car sick, she’s in charge of the baby.

Waiting for the store to open. I need new sneakers and to go to the store for tampons.. it's been a rough period. We have 4 loads of gravel coming today for backfill since our foundation inspection is Monday. Dh will be doing that while I mow. Our neighbors 4th party is tonight so we'll probably go to that later.

I’m getting ready to jump in the shower. M & I will be headed to my niece’s bridal shower in a bit.

Morning! Everything crossed for a smooth ride for you guys kim22. After M2 went down last night, I started my painting adventure in the play room. I cut in all the corners and around all the trim, baseboards, crown molding, and outlets. So far, so good. I’ll be rolling that room today whenever M2 goes down for his nap. Not much else on the agenda except getting in a work out and purging some things in my room and bathroom. Hope everyone has a great Saturday! |

It's a gorgeous Saturday and the windows are open. E and I are at the park. I'll probably change a part on my car later and do some yard work while it is nice out

Morning! I day drank too much yesterday so was in bed watching queer eye by 8:30. At least I got enough sleep so I felt good to get up and go to spin class at 8. Now I’m home and had breakfast. I’m going to pack up the kids stuff and dh will take them to my parents. We’re heading into the cities tonight to celebrate my birthday with my sister and bil, and staying in a new fancy hotel. Can’t wait!

Morning!! We have no real plans today and being our last full day of vacation, we slept in a bit. I still got in a run and DH went to the gym, so at least we aren't feeling gross from the drinking.
Colin is just about to start his first golf lesson! MIL promised to take pictures. I hope she also changed him out of what he was wearing earlier today - head-to-toe mismatched reds. Yikes.

joelies my mom wouldn't change him. She would tell me it's his way of self expression. That's why for this trip I bagged the outfits together to avoid any issues. I let him pick his clothes within reason, and only step in when necessary. I can only imagine how embarrassed my MIL would be to be seen with him in that clothes, TBH, but she's sweet enough to possibly let it go. |

We are doing good. We are about 30 minutes away but there’s an hour until check in so we are at a rest area. H and the kids are in getting food and I’m hanging with the pup.

Funny story though: that happened to me in high school after I had the stomach flu. We had a school dance that <in dramatic teenage girl voice> ABSOLUTELY, LIKE, COULD NOT MISS!! But my eye still looked bad so I wore sunglasses with my dress. Well, I ended up getting hauled into the principles office because they thought I was high! 😬 |
