Well, we’re the proud new owners of a Jetta. Or should I say, dh is, since it technically doesn’t fit all our kids! It’ll be a good commuting car for him though.

slenle I hope you have a great night, but no hangover in the morning! cagoldi I hope everything is okay...I don't remember the password to the private board and my phone doesn't save it like my desktop. tgrimes glad the shower went well! What was the decision? Vodka or wine? I'll have to live vicariously through you til I can drink again after this 8 day jump start.

Colin pulled a Happy Gilmore at golf today and got a whole in one. Apparently everyone started screaming about it and he got scared, poor kiddo!! They gave him a little golf bag ID tag that looks like a medal, so he's thrilled and can't wait to go back. Also MIL had him change his shorts before leaving the house.  |

I somehow bursted blood vessels in my eye while sleeping though so now I have to keep sunglasses on or I look creepy. Ugh that sucks. Funny story though: that happened to me in high school after I had the stomach flu. We had a school dance that <in dramatic teenage girl voice> ABSOLUTELY, LIKE, COULD NOT MISS!! But my eye still looked bad so I wore sunglasses with my dress. Well, I ended up getting hauled into the principles office because they thought I was high! 😬 I have done this before but it was my fault, drank too much and got sick at the bar. It doesn’t hurt at all but I am going to look terrible all summer. |

Hopefully in a day or two she will perk up. Max has a chronic upper respiratory infection and the constant boogers are just so gross. I feel bad for him but I also hate scrubbing boogs off the wall. |

Man what a day. I went to solidcore, them MH conned me into going to swim practice which was actually fun, then went to the pool after nap, and then went to a minor league game for the first time. Definitely more our speed than major league, and the gorgeous weather definitely helped.
I just submitted my last case study for this class and should crash. Happy weekend!

It is just the lysine supplement they gave me, not sure what it's called. The kitten, Martha, is doing better, but not 100% so I'm still giving her the lysine as well. |

Not too shabby! |

M has been vomiting for the last 2 hours.
I’m concerned it isn’t a stomach virus this time and it’s whatever the issue was last fall. Augh.

Morning. Both kids are in a foul mood, Dh is working and I’m not in the mood to venture out on my own with two kids. It one of those days where at 9 in the morning I wanted the day to be over.

Last night was great. Our “plan” was to stop at the winery here for lunch before heading into the cities for shopping, dinner, and hotel with my sister and BIL. Then tonight we were going to do dinner with a bunch of friends.
I was suspicious of some sort of surprise, but thought maybe later in the evening or tonight. Well, when we were leaving the winery, I commented that the wedding party that was there had a party bus in the parking lot. Then the door opened and all my friends came out! So I was totally surprised. We made a couple stops for drinks and had dinner then ended up back at my sisters for the night.
I just loved hearing how detailed dh was in the planning, covering all his bases to hide the surprise. What a guy.
I stopped drinking after dinner which I am very grateful for this morning. I feel great and dh is hurting.
