C is napping. It took him coloring, playing with his new Black Panther toy, and numerous rounds of him singing Jingle Bells at the top of his lungs but he finally passed out and has been sleeping 1.5 hrs now. He needed it so bad after such a busy week. Hopefully he will pop right back into his routine tomorrow goin back to school.

Impressive that you fixed the car part Sunny41!!! Happy Birthday slenle!!! Sounds like an awesome surprise!!! Where did you all head to in the party bus?? Oh no! How is she doing now tgrimes!? wineallthetime Those can be annoying ages! Do they listen to you if they are doing something they aren't supposed to or doing something annoying and you tell them to stop at least?? They're really good kids, actually. We really don't need to redirect them much and their dad is usually outside keeping an eye out from his house. The girl goes to the gifted school and is a huge know it all. The boy just talks so much and is kinda judgy. Like he came in our house for something and was like, "Uhhhh, is it always this messy?" And then told me A really didn't look safe in the swing. It could be way worse, their personalities just bug me. I already have my own kids driving me nuts, haha!

tgrimes what was her previous GI issue? I can't remember. Last October she was having vomiting episodes usually 3 days in a row where she’s vomit profusely for several hours. We ran multiple lab work and did an upper G.I. nothing. The dr said he felt a lot of poop and it was very visible in the X-rays. Best guess is she was really backed up, even though she was pooping everyday. We’ve been on miralax daily ever since then. I’m suppose to cut it down to a teaspoon later this month, but now I’m scared to.

sands42 M got slime on her Minnie chair and I can’t get the stain out either. I wonder if you call the cleaners you used if they’d be able to offer some advice.

One of the couples we hang out with has an 8yo and she’s v v annyoing, I find it’s the age between ‘baby’/kid play and pre-teen so they hang out and try and act like adults. No, just no.

Afternoon all
We had company last night for dinner and it was awesome, kids played and destroyed the yard, we visited and drank my new drink, such a good time. Today was a normal Sunday morning with cleaning the house and finishing up laundry.
I was going to go look for a new hand bag since J’s napping but i’ve become one with this chair

sands42 I'd be so mad about the carpet. I use vinegar and hot water for the dog piss, then sprinkle baking soda on it for the smell. I'm not sure that would help with the color and stick though. If you told your H next time you talk to him, maybe he'd have time to let the anger subside by the time he gets home?

E actually fell asleep in the swing. I needed to use the restroom and put her in there so I could go and she fell asleep. It's a miracle. Now I have something to help if she is refusing to go to sleep at night.

While I was trying to motivate this morning, I had the weirdest, most vivid feeling of holding Chase. I've had a great time but I am clearly ready to get home! We don't have much planned today - breakfast and packing, maybe walk around a bit and then drive back towards San Francisco to find something to kill a few more hours before the red-eye. It's nice not to have solid plans. you should probably go to ghiradelli and get some chocolate or chocolate ice cream.

I'm trying to get stuff finished up on the house but there is still so much to do!! ALSO- my kids and their cousins took slime upstairs and it got on the carpet HOURS after I got it professionally cleaned. It's not coming up. I've watching like 20 youtube tutorials of 8 year olds cleaning slime off carpet. Nothing works. I haven't told my husband. He's gonna be pissed. I've been extremely limiting junk food & screen time... Lord have mercy. I hope they adjust to this soon as I hope to make it the new normal. I decided I will hide *my* snacks.... because I like snacks. Slime is only allowed on the kitchen table at my house for exactly this reason. Dang kids. I hope you can get it up somehow.

Hi! Just feeding C hoping he will nap before our dinner reservation tonight. It was a great beach day. Temperatures were only in the 70’s though but that was good because my big kids swam with my dad and had their own personal lifeguards. T made friends and dug holes between the million times he asked when fudgie wudgie (the ice cream man) was coming. C was happy and took a decent stroller nap.

chrisy01 I think it took C about 3 weeks to enjoy the swing but once he did it was a game changer. We were able to start figuring out his awake times and sleep signals once we got a bit more rest. He did all naps in there until about 5 months. I hope this is the game changer for you.

I was getting nervous because E wasn't liking anything besides tummy time and that doesn't help her fall asleep.

Ugh that sucks! sands42 is it in a central spot or can you put something near it to hide it? Hope you find something that works soon.

MH let me sleep in today. We had late breakfast and then M2 and I went to run errands. He went down for his nap when we got back, and I finished painting what I could in the laundry room. We are attempting to replace the rubber seal on the washer in a few weeks, so when we take it out of there for that, I’ll finish painting. Didn’t want to have to unhook and remove the W/D twice. Here is before and after pics. They are in two different lights. I like the color a lot.

C took a 3 hour nap! I’m slightly scared for bedtime but he needed it bad. We are headed to the playground for a bit to burn off some energy.
