I'm actually busy today. I just had lunch and watched Ep2 or OITNB. Back to work. I did find some time to get in a nice sized Carters order for the kids too. Such cute stuff! I got 5 tops and 5 shorts for each kid plus a bathing suit for dd and a rash guard for ds. All for $135. Not too shabby. Life twin for all of the above. I bought DD some of those dress with shorts things and she lost her shit when she saw them. Whatever works I guess haha.

All the coffee and wine for you Pizzaslut until J's sleep situation settles. girlonabike the plastic pool is fabulous! How is your mom doing? She is currently back at her house in central NY for a two weeks. She's doing good, but I worry about her being up there alone.

Ah, tank top season. Time for the same people in my office to say to me "I didn't know you had a tattoo on your back?!" On the plus, you're able to wear a tank top to work. Muscle tee style is as much as I can get away with.

I'm mostly pissed because I did the hardcore sleep training. I was tough. He slept like an angel (when he wasn't sick). NOW I HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. I'm late replying but I'd rip the bandaid and start asap again. It's so tough but you've seen the other side. Were here for you!

Today was super muggy and hot. I was hoping to avoid AC until the end of the month start of July. Humidity is a beast.
ETA: my hair friz gets out of control in humid weather. I become Monica.

Sometimes I wonder if I am surrounded by anti-vaxers. Today while at the park with S1 friend as we were talking about visiting the doctor for well visits I said "I can't remember if there are shots at two" to which she (the other mom who has a daughter who turned 2 in April) replied "......" of course I have no guts so I didn't ask but why would she say " oh we had x number for G"

By the way, I'm starting my day by watching a 28 minute counterintelligence training video. There may not be enough coffee in the world to keep me awake. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk Way late, but I used to put water under my eyes from my cup and then fan my face to stay away during the worst work training videos. Disclaimer: I was 17 so there's that too haha. Splash cold coffee on my face? Caffeine by osmosis? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

The kids are watching bubble guppies. The guppies are dressed as clowns. Since I've been listening to true crime podcasts lately, all I think when I see clowns is John Wayne Gacy. So basically it feels like I'm watching guppie serial killers and it's creeping me out. Clowns are not cute! They're creepy AF! My mind is so warped.

I live and breathe serial killers for about a month. Gacy is one of them and yup, clowns are creepy AF.

The students are so into it. I'm trying to figure out a way to encorporate some killer kids episodes into my class room. Need to figure out copy right stuff first.

I bailed. No fucks given, it's hot as balls out If it was just you and your S then I would say suck it up buttercup but a toddler and an infant plus no shade? Nope Exactly what I was thinking. We went over to the neighborhood splash pad and got ice cream instead. MUCH better than chasing a toddler in the sun and watching DS melt out in left field 😜

My sweet precious son has really been pushing it lately. For his entire life, he has slept in our bed maybe 3 times. Until last Wednesday, when he climbed out of his crib. He has slept in our bed for all or part of 4 out of the last 5 nights. He used to go to sleep right after we did our little routine. I'd put him down awake and he would either talk to himself for a few minutes then go to sleep, or just roll right over and go to sleep. Now, he won't go to sleep unless we are in the the room. Plus he is waking up at different times. Sometimes it's 10 pm, or 2 am, or 5 am (and then he's up for the day). He will not go back down like he used to. I used to just let him cry a bit and he would go back to sleep. Now, he is hysterical and trying to get out of his crib. I hope this is some sort of developmental thing because I really do not believe he all of a sudden does not need as much sleep. I'm fucking over this. I'm exhausted and I do NOT want this to be a bad habit. WHEN WILL HE GO BACK TO SLEEPING ALL NIGHT IN HIS OWN BED?!?!?!? You have ALL my sorry's. I will say that I think it is developmental. We are somewhat coming to the tail end of exactly this...(FX it's the tail end). M needs to know/think we are in the room with him in order to go to sleep. Before this started (3 weeks ago I think) we had our routine, and put him in bed awake, and wouldn't see him until morning. Now if you even start to sing his bedtime song, he gets upset. We added extra room darkening measures, which helps a bit, but is so much harder to sneak out when I think he is asleep. Hang in there Momma. It will get better! Hugs and wine for you!
