Ds has really taken off with texture. Finally! He used to gag with anything not puréed.
For snacks, he likes Bambas and Cheerios.

Ooo ds1 has a bunch of the CamelBak water bottles. I will definitely try that today. Ds2 has already used one of those that he found in ds1's room.

As a meal idea, the girls love meatballs, beans, and pancakes. I also got broccoli bites that DS used to enjoy, but haven’t tried hem yet. They also adore crackers (more than bread). We also let them try some (non spicy) chicken chili, and they really liked it. What type of crackers? I wasn't sure when to introduce things like that. H keeps feeding B cheese-it’s....

We are using the straw cup and a nuk sippy. He does ok getting water out of both but he needs to figure out how to drink it.
I think I’m going to proportion some frozen veggies this weekend so I just have to pull a bag out and warm them up on week nights. I also saw someone use tiny cookie cutters on a sandwich so I might see what sizes we have and do some grilled cheeses. Walmart messed up a few weeks ago and gave us 2lb of cheese in our pick up order so we have a lot of cheese at home.

Even my parents commented how much more relaxed I am with this kid. DS got NOTHING processed until he was like 18 months

For those thinking about grilled cheese, you can just cut them into sticks about 1-1.5 fingers width and let them go to town. DS1 was eating them this way at like 7 months.
N will eat anything he is able to eat. He had steak fajitas and 1/2 of my rice and beans the other night when we were out for dinner. He also ate 1/2 of my burger patty at 5 Guys last week.
We trialed baked in butter this weekend in chocolate chip cookies and he passed! He had it both through breastmilk and directly. He had absolutely no issues. Next up I think we will try something sauteed in butter and see how that goes.

It's more that I wasn't sure if crackers were a choking hazard, mum mum's kind of dissolve, crackers could become a gloopy mess.

I broke up some regular town house crackers into super small bites, and them bigger as they got used to it. DS hated chicken as a baby, but the girls love it. DS only started eating it more once I put salsa on it (he likes more flavor/a little spice, even when he was smaller)
