What's everyone feeding? How much and how often?

Good topic! Also, please post pictures 👍
Jojo is starting to get more into it, but still eating in really small amounts except for dinner time where she eats a bit more.
Here's today for example. She had about a tablespoon of 5% yogurt for breakfast. About a quarter sized piece of scrambled egg in tiny pieces from DH's plate. I don't always give her food at lunch time, some days it doesn't work out. For dinner tonight I'll give her baby oat cereal and some puree fruit/veggie which she always likes. She probably eats two tbsp cereal and one tbsp puree.
I try not to get hung up on how much she eats and therefore breakfast and lunch are usually things I'm eating too so it doesn't feel like a waste.
Other things that she sometimes likes 🙄: banana (I'll post a pic if how I give it to her in a second), tiny bits of chicken or fish usually with some puree so it's not too dry to swallow (and will usually give her a chunk of this to try on her own at the same time), mashed up peas (from frozen), adult oatmeal if I'm eating it, steamed broccoli pieces for her to hold herself.

We are still doing purees, and honestly I am just buying random mixes at the store. With D1, I introd foods more slowly, but with C, I'm just doing whatever lol. Today is Gerber apple spinach with kale. She freaking loves anything with apples in it and will eat a whole jar at a time, so in trying to get the ones mixed with green veggies. She usually eats purees twice during the day, but sometimes only once on the weekends. I will start BLW pretty soon in addition. She loves Mum Mum crackers.
Feeding her now! poof

We’re also just doing purées and only once a day (dinner time). Yesterday the dr suggested starting to do food 2-3 times a day, so I may starting sending some purees to daycare for lunch time.
I tried mushed up sweet potato the other day, and she was gagging. Then, when I did the store bought sweet potato purée, she loved it. I need to start introducing more stuff with a thicker consistency.

C loves it thatgolfb! DD's fave purees from the store include mango, this kid is fancy. She likes the taste of green veggies too, the love child brand with pear, green bean, kale and prune.

I find it a bit tricky to fit in between BFing, naps, trying to actually go out and do things etc.

We are doing purees but honestly, it's a slow go. He absolutely LOVES food. Haven't find one he didnt like yet, but it's hard to find the time to keep an actual schedule going. So if there's time in the morning he'll get breakfast, or lunch, etc. He'll be 6 months 3 days from now, so I'm not rushing it

Just started yesterday (he's 7 months). I'm only introducing one new food (puree) every few days because of his peanut allergy. This will likely only last a couple weeks. Then I'll be doing baby led weaning once he gets a hang of swallowing better. He ate the banana better today so for him it's just getting used to the process at this point.
I try to do the new purees at lunch time so I can watch for a reaction but I'm allergy paranoid. Once I'm more comfortable and doing BLW, I'll give him a bit of what I'm eating whenever he's up. Food before one is just for fun so I'm not looking to replace nursing sessions or anything like that.

We feed DS whenever he happens to be awake at a meal time. Sometimes he isn't. He gets pretty much anything - whatever we're eating, fruit and veggies to pick at with his hands, crusty bread to suck on, purée if I'm feeling ambitious (usually during the day when the 3 year old is at day care), etc.
I am not giving much. If he has purée or yogurt, it's 2 tbsp. Actual pieces of veggies/fruit, it's like... 1 strawberry. 1 broccoli floret.
We have introduced most potential allergens now. He hasn't had tree nuts yet, but I did peanut butter last week, eggs à month or so ago, shellfish a few weeks ago. The only thing he won't eat is peas. Next week I'm going to make baby pasta, chicken sausages, and zucchini muffins to freeze and have ready for quick meals.

I’m doing baby led weaning. Finger sized pieces of food. Whatever we are eating. Spaghetti. Macaroni. Pizza. Deconstructed tacos. Scrambled eggs and toast. Meatballs and rice. All fruits. Veggies slightly roasted or steamed. Sometimes raw if I want him to take longer. I’ll poof some of these. [/IMG]

We are doing purees, but still stage 1. So no combos yet - i’m hoping they will like those better. I also need to try cutting the purees with oatmeal - DS liked that for the stronger flavors.
I want both to sit a bit better before we go to puffs.
I will talk to my dr re: introducing allergen foods at our next appt. almost forgot about that!

And we send a purée into school each day and if we can, try one at night.

We just started. We do cereal at one meal time just to get her used to texture and I give her bits of whatever I'm eating that is appropriate. Today she had a frozen peach and strawberry in the feeder and a homemade french fry to gnaw on. I'm super lazy about intro-ing foods and we do BLW.

We have no allergies in our family so I’ve introduced everything. Everything except honey.

I started out trying vegetable and fruit purées but C was not a fan. He’s had baby oatmeal mixed with breastmilk the last two nights and he actually liked it! He’s actually swallowing now instead of pushing out each bite with his tongue. I think he got about 2 tbsp tonight. Peas are icky Baby oatmeal is delicious

we’ve only just started solids so we will probably just do it at dinner time for a couple of weeks, then add lunch time, then three times a day.

We are just trying things as we have time in the evening mostly. We started a few weeks ago and he wasn’t interested but the past few days he has done much better. He seems to love sweet potatoes so far. Not a big fan of bananas or pears surprisingly. Eating sweet potato poof

We do purees mixed with oatmeal to thicken it. He eats a whole jar mixed with about 1 tbsp of baby oatmeal. We do the mixed jars from Beechnut and he loves them all. Today he had sweet potatoes and barely. During the week I send it to daycare and I feed him whenever on the weekend. He is still only once a day but that’s just out of laziness and a lack of time.
He has also nommed on a few whole foods. He isn’t a huge fan but I’m hooking the high chair on the table tomorrow so I’ll start giving him more BLW style foods.
Our pediatrician wants us to introduce peanut butter and eggs. In a couple of weeks we’re going to trial some baked dairy. I’m quite nervous about that.

We sit the girls in their high chairs for three meals a day now. They split one container of Stage 2 purée each meal and nibble on whatever else we’re eating. Peaches and tomato seem to bother M (she spits it back up all afternoon), but everything else is ok so far. We’ve exposed them to peanut butter and eggs at the pediatrician’s suggestion, but we don’t have family allergies. If I’m snacking during the day, C flicks her tongue out over and over until I let her try. It’s cute. 😊
*I don’t have any recent food pics, but I’ll try to remember to take some today.*

BabyWaffle has puréed veg at lunch and puréed fruit at 3. We'll start adding biscuit to the fruit as it's just too runny/not filling enough. Planning to try mashing a banana with some other fruit but so far she is having the ready made stuff and we'll probably stick with that until we get home.
We've stuck with making our own veggie purées and she has eaten everything we've given her so far but clearly prefers courgette, spinach and leek. She particularly seemed to enjoy it when we added garlic and parsley to the mix.
She did not seem to love beetroot and sweet potato though she ate it. Weirdly did not love avocado so we're trying again tomorrow.
She clearly loves her food, I can't wait to give her new stuff to try and start with little pieces that she can feed herself.

I’m trying to do a few bites of purée a night. He’s had green beans and carrots. So far he likes green beans, not so much carrots. He doesn’t like rice cereal. We did a bite of mashed potatoes at dinner tonight and he seemed ok with it. I’m trying to BF then offer food, but he seems full?? He’s also usually tired after daycare so that makes it harder. Mashed potatoes Carrots.
