I'll find out on Wednesday when my GTT is. I've been on an odd week appointment schedule since I had my first appointment at 9 weeks. She's been going with every 4 still, so 13/17/21/25 and on. So I'm curious to see if she says 4 weeks again at 29 weeks with the GTT then also, or has me do it at 28 weeks. My OB wanted me to do my GT between 26-28 weeks. Mine told me I had to be at least 28 weeks first. It's so weird how different OBs can be with regards to timelines.

Does anyone here have a pregnancy support belt? My belly feels extra stretched whenever I’m up on my feet and it’s very uncomfortable so I wonder if one of those would help? I bought one a few weeks ago and it definitely helps. I don't wear it often yet at 22 weeks, but when I do, it really helps take the strain off my back.

My Dr said 28 weeks too. Here you see your family doctor until 30 weeks (then you transfer to an ob)

I've been sitting here for an hour, just watching my stomach move. This child is having a hard time getting comfy in there today lol. Or she really liked that orange I just ate. DD never moved this much, so it's fascinating to watch my entire abdomen shifting and rippling.

I am already so uncomfortable at 25.5 weeks! I can’t imagine 35 weeks. What am I going to do with my toddler in the heat of the summer when I can barely breathe or move?!

I don't know how I'm going to make it another 12 weeks. My stomach can't possibly get any bigger! I took a measurement and my waist is like a size 42🤦♀️

I’m already feeling miserable. I think I was a lot further along my first pregnancy before misery hit.

MH saw my belly moving last night when i was laying down and was like "is that the baby?!". Lol

We are going to get one of those cheap pools for the backyard. I plan on chilling there with the toddler most of the summer. The closest public pool (besides the indoor Y) is 40 mins. So it's not realistic to go daily.
I also feel so big and tired already. Like I feel I should be approaching full term not JUST reaching 3rd tri.

Stopped at BRU. Everything was 20% off. Not really enough to make me want to buy anything.

Everyone who’s dreading being pregnant in the summer heat can just come hang out with me in the north country. I plan on spending as much of my summer as I can in the mountains of NH where a “hot” July day is 80 max. It’s a good thing because I hate pools.

Thanks for reminding me! I can handle that!

I woke up about 20 mins before everyone else and got a cup of coffee in peace! This makes me excited. It’s the simple things I guess! 😂
Can’t decide what to do today. Our Sunday School class has a picnic but it’s at noon which is DD’s nap time. I feel like we need to go because we are sucky church attendees and haven’t seen anyone in awhile but we are all up now so we could easily hit early service and stay on time for naps. Eh. Decisions.

I'm up. It's weird being off on a Sunday. It's MH's birthday today so he's getting some birthday sex when he wakes up. I don't really have any plans today. I'm disappointed that my eye isn't looking more normal faster. It is getting better but still just looks ugly. A fair amount of pain in the eye socket/with eyeball movement too still. At least the light sensitivity is gone so I can safely drive. I'm super paranoid about developing it in the other eye so Ive been putting a drop of moisturizing eye drops in the right in the mornings. No idea if that's necessary but it makes me feel better.

I got to sleep in! It’s only until 7:00 but if I slept any later my body would hurt. It’s just very enjoyable waking up on my own instead of by an alarm or a loud three year old. DD and DH are still asleep and it’s so quiet. Bliss!

We bought a new car yesterday, now I’m spiraling on the Snoo. Clearly trying to break some sort of spending record this weekend. Anyone have the Snoo and can recommend / discourage it? Also do you think I should get the auto rock and play and a Snoo or just a Snoo?

I was heavily considering one based on their recommendations, but in no world would I ever talk MH into 2.

Anyone getting a breast pump from insurance company? I called Friday night and was given 3 different brands. There are also some from Medela, but they were closed so the insurance rep couldn't talk to them. I had an ameda last time.

I have a friend who's using a dock a tot right now and her baby sleeps really well in it. I'll have to see if she has a snoo also.

For anyone ordering a breast pump through insurance, check out Edgepark. You can order it online, and they take care of everything with your insurance. I got mine with DD from there, and never had to talk to a soul. It was mailed to me.

Easily 10x better than the Ameda I had with my first. Also, if Freemies are an option (my insurance covered them) they were awesome. Hands-free that fit in a regular bra, and you can pull your shirt down over them. May look a little Madonna-like, but awesome to not have to be half naked while pumping. I also went through Edgepark, though I think I talked to them on the phone. They recommended the Freemies, i had never heard of them before that.

tarheelmom, thanks for the response. The spectra is an option. The other 2 were Hygenia Enjoye and Ameda Finese. Also some options from Medela, but I'll call them tomorrow. I can't order until 28 weeks, but wanted to have time to research them.

I went with the hospital grade S2, though I know they also make a more portable version, I just can’t speak to how well it works. I really struggled pumping with DD (Ameda PY), pumping every 2hrs, needing to add night and weekend sessions, power pumping, supplements, etc. She gained fine, I just didn’t respond to the pump well. With DS (Spectra S2), I was able to pump just twice a day and have plenty to send for him at daycare.

I'm not sure if it was the pump, or just me, or the flange size, but I never was able to pump much. it is small and portable, which is nice.
