Yogurt hopefully you get some answers from your blood work, but i agree with others that I would push for progesterone testing at 7dpo this next cycle. No use waiting for a bfp, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t also ask for a progesterone test after a bfp but you might be able to be proactive about it too. My RE says she doesn’t always trust the 7dpo test because progesterone does fluctuate throughout the day etc but it might at least give you some insight.

charliefox Thinking of you and hoping everything works out well for you today! Thanks girl! Just sitting in the waiting room before my IUI. I’m 100% sure I O’d yesterday due to a dip then huge temp spike this morning by my RE still wants to go ahead with the IUI. I’m frustrated and annoyed with myself for not being better with the OPKs over the weekend. I’m not super hopefully for this cycle 🤷🏼♀️

charliefox,Oh no how frustrating. Did you still have just the one follicle or did the second one catch up? Even if you already O'd you still have a chance this cycle!

sammysam, have you started OPKs yet? I did my first one today! It was negative of coarse but there was a good start to the second line so hopefully I'm on track to O this weekend.

Anyone want to share their dpo symptoms today? I'm still WTO so I've got nothing. But my temps are already super wonky this cycle!

I have a fertility monitor so I use that in the morning and opk in the pm. It said "low" this morning but I'll pee on something to see what the line looks like. I'm guessing I'll have a +OPK by Sunday.

And phantom ovulation pain even though I’m 5DPO? And that I can’t stop eating? Those kinds of things? Most of which are also caused by my crappy eating habits this week, but still I can give you more details on my gas if you’re super curious...

Sorry for cd1 remi and wildhoney sunny75, no clue if the second one caught up, no use doing an u/s today before my IUI since we were going through with it anyway (plus, didn't want to have to pay for another u/s). The NP that did my IUI did say my cervix was really open so hopefully that means O wasn't too long ago.

sammysam, yeah, we aren't completely out this cycle or anything. We hit -4, -3, -1, +1 (IUI), we'll try for tonight too just for funsies. Also, I know I O, and last cycle I had a good size follicle on my own but ever since I had my son in 2015 my temp spikes for O haven't been as much as they were before. It's still obvious when I O but it's usually more of a slow climb, or even when it does spike it isn't as much as before, and my post-O temps aren't as high as they used to be. Anyway, I'm hoping the big dip yesterday and big spike today mean something good (like better egg quality?) I dunno, I'm sure it's nothing but a girl can hope.

wildhoney and remi, it's CD1 for me too. I woke up at 1am, which is at least better than bloody sheets in the morning. I still have to NTNP this month, which is frustrating, but I'll join in cycle stalking if you'll have me. I am intending to start OPKs next week, to start to get to know my cycle again.

remi purple wildhoney I'm so sorry. I'm on cd3, but I O on day 17-20, so maybe we'll be close on our O dates. My last CP was basically like a normal cycle so I'm hoping for the same.

I finally started temping in the second half of my cycle just to get in the routine for CD1 and I already failed. I am terrible at sleeping and tend to wake up a few times in the middle of the night (to pee, to cough - yay asthma, and because I live and sleep in fear of missing my alarm). I took my temp at each wake up - but the wake up times range from 1230 AM to 545 AM (when I actually woke up for the day). I know you need several hours of uninterrupted sleep prior to BBT, but that isn’t always possible for me.
So which one do I take? This is also reminding me why I hated temping.

I'm not sure, because I'm still waiting for the results of health checks, but probably until July. I'm trying to focus on feeling better, and at least we haven't been told to prevent so it could be worse!

Are you getting out of bed each time you wake? I think it's okay if you are waking up as long as you aren't getting out of bed. If you always wake up around 4am to pee, I would just plan to take it then. I think the most important thing is that its at the same time every time you take it.

sharebear Take it after your biggest chunk of sleep. It doesn't matter if you wake up through the night so long as you are going back to sleep. Last cycle I always took my temp between 4am and 5am ish. This cycle I'm aiming for between 6 and 6:30. Doesn't matter if it's perfect. It's more about seeing a pattern and not the specific individual temps.

sharebear, I'm with sammysam on this - take your temp after your biggest chunk of sleep. I'm a terrible sleeper, so I aim to take my temp after 3 hours of sleep. I have 4.5 years of charts and it hasn't mattered if I take it at 2am or 6am.

Thanks everyone! Sounds like my bbts are regularly going to be based on 2-3 hours of sleep. I love that, 2 years after having MOTN wake ups from DS, I have my own MOTN wakeups. Also, did I mention I hate temping?

charliefox sammysam I was taught that it was more important to take it at the same time than after a bigger chunk of sleep. That is good to know! Sometimes I have to wake up to go to DD/DS and it's usually around 2am. If I go to sleep around 10, is it better to temp around 2am or is it better to temp at 5:30 am if I'm back to sleep around 3am?
