DH and I sleep in separate rooms. Mostly because of his snoring, but for other reasons too. It works for us, it’s just funny to me how uncomfortable it makes other people. ‘How do you get time together?’ Well, I’m 6 months pregnant, clearly we get time together.
I am thinking about getting a pedicure today and taking dd with me. She will get a kick out of it!

Like, sleeping each night next to someone isn't required to be connected in a relationship. Obviously have had some sex too 😂

It's just different than my norm. Honestly if I wasn't such a baby itd be really nice to have the bed all to myself and no extra noises!

I’ve been fighting off sickness this week/weekend. It’s crazy how much energy it sucks out of me. I slept in until 8 this morning which was nice. We had breakfast and then I made cookies with DS (it’s a snow day here with over a foot of snow 😱) and now I already need a nap at 11. I just don’t want to be sick anymore.
We could probably benefit from sleeping in separate rooms. My H breathes super loud/snores when he sleeps. I’m such a light sleeper but using a sound machine has really helped. When the baby comes, I’m not sure how using a sound machine will work anymore...

I get some totally free time to myself and just come into the room in the morning for snuggles. Late night chips in bed while I binge watch Project Runway FTW!

How crazy is it that 2019 just popped up on the birth month board page? It seems like not too long ago we were the last ones on there. Makes me realize how much closer we are getting.

Well, I took dd to get our pedicures. For reference she turns 4 in July. She was very confused as to why ‘boys’ were getting their nails done. Lol. It was fun telling her that both boys and girls can get their nails done. She was a very confused look on her face.

Is anybody getting spider veins on their legs? I remember getting them on my upper legs with DS, and most of them disappeared but this time I'm getting them on my lower legs. I'm going to look real cute wearing my shorts and summer dresses😟

I hope a little sun can help cover them up.

DD was curious about their different parts for about a minute around age 4 (they are 5.5yo and 2.5yo now). We just explained that boys are a little different and that was that. She is much more concerned now with choices (girls like long hair and nail polish, boys like jeans and dirt), so we have to remind her that not ALL girls and boys feel the same way about everything. It’s still difficult for her to understand that daddy likes having no hair (he shaves his head) when she wants hers as long as rapunzel, so some things just end up in the boys and girls are different bucket.

Yep! And some boys like to wear skirts and dresses, etc. too! I'm sure I'll be painting baby brother's nails at her request
