I feel the most movement when I'm sitting up in bed or on the couch. I think the stillness makes him want to move lol.

notmoose I'm not sure the bed rest is impacting weight gain that much. Maybe several pounds worth total, but not much more than that. My job is very active and I either work out a few times a week or like this week I've got cleaning stuff to do every day. I'm still gaining even though I feel like with my usual intake and activity level, I wouldn't be. So unless you're starving yourself or bingeing, I think our bodies are just going to do what they're going to do with weight gain during pregnancy. That's a perfectly reasonable amount of calories and would be too low IMO if you weren't doing bedrest. Up until now I just ate when hungry. Today since I'm trying to eat better, I am fricken starving.

I've heard that if the product doesn't touch your skin, it's fine. Take that with a grain of salt because I have no experience here. I don't dye or do highlights, but just tell your stylist and they can give recommendations.

I'm beat. I cleaned for almost two hours. The baby's room is officially empty and vacuumed out. Tomorrow after work I'll use my big carpet cleaner in there and it will be ready for furniture whenever. 🙌🙌🙌
Too bad I still have to make and clean up dinner lol.

When does one normally order and assemble nursery furniture? I'm still trying to pick out a dresser and crib. Haven't even started looking at gliders/recliners.

I started doing everything about 30 weeks last time? Furniture and stuff. The last little things were done by 36 weeks ish. I never got that nesting urge with my first, and I doubt it'll happen with this one although it needs to. I have no motivation to sort through the giant bins of clothes I just threw in after DD outgrew them. So. Much. Stuff. I'm at this weird point where I'm hungry all the time, but I don't want to eat anything. I have to force myself to eat, and everything tastes so ugh. I'm hitting like 1400 cal a day.

I researched it quite a bit beforehand and there is very little risk, particularly highlights which don’t sit on the scalp to process. That being said even single process color risk in minuscule.

I knew what I wanted so I bought when it was on sale. All my stuff came from amazon so I used CamelCamelCamel.com to get an idea of what a good price was. ETA, the stuff that came from ikea I bought when we moved back to Houston around 30 weeks.

DS is getting his big boy bed this week! Hopefully he’ll transition ok from his toddler bed that we need to change back to a crib for the new baby. He still wakes up a couple of times a week and has to come to our bed for the rest of the night. When we moved DD to a real bed I was able to lie down with her in her bed until she fell back asleep, and she stopped waking up middle of the night after a few weeks. I’m hoping for the same with the little guy, but he is quite a bit more stubborn. Gotta AW the new bed - he really seems to like it so far! Attachment Deleted...and the nursery, aka my side of the bedroom, lol. Poor third child. Attachment Deleted

Well I'm a planner and like to get things done early lol. We just finished DS room and tonight was his first night in his big boy bed and new room. The baby is getting his nursery furniture and rocker so I just need to paint, get new curtains, a rug and few decor pieces. I will probably have everything done within the next 30 days. I really have more time since she will sleep in our room the first 5-6 months but I get super inpatient and just want things done.

People have been asking me if I've bought furniture yet lol. I'm going to keep watching stuff on Wayfair and hopefully something I like will go on sale soon. But I was planning to wait a few more weeks at least before ordering anything.
Getting rid of stuff and organizing shit in general is at the top of my list right now. I keep looking around at my house and looking at my registry thinking, where the hell am I going to put all this stuff??

The baby's room is being used as a playroom right now so all of the stuff needs to be moved downstairs into what we use as a sitting room currently. All the stuff from the sitting room needs to be cleared out before that can happen. This all involves action from my H, which I've been trying to push, but nothing has been done yet.

I got my first Charlie’s horse of this pregnancy last night. Ouch. I got them last pregnancy too. Usually at night when I’m sleeping and trying to move positions. The struggle...

I cleaned out all of the stuff in the baby’s room that didn’t belong there a few weeks ago, but now it’s a staging area for all the stuff that they need. It’s available, but far from functional.
The only reason we have all the furniture is because it’s the same stuff we used for DD and I really wanted to get DD in her big girl set up ASAP since she resists change. I do have a second crib because it was on sale, but I haven’t bought a crib mattress yet.

I've been driving my husband crazy with all of my nesting, between converting the spare bedroom into DS new room, decorating the nursery, spring cleaning and getting ready for DS birthday party next month. Oh and now we need to clear out our MB because we are getting a new bedroom set for in there. Yeah, he's pretty much done with me lol.

My nursery will also be in my room. Pack n play that has a changing table thing on it and a rock n play. Should last me awhile. I don’t want to clean out another bedroom for this baby. When she is older I imagine she will share a room with dd1

Ouch, I got these a lot with DD but don't remember any with ds. I hope I don't get them this time. Hopefully it won't be a regular thing for you!
