cornpop , I might have to try that. Right now the only thing that I am able to drink without heartburn is a fountain coke. Even plain water is giving me horrible heartburn. Seriously...wtf? There’s absolutely nothing in water! And I don’t really even like coke. I would try it, the Mango flavor is pretty decent. And I know I keep saying it, but seriously apple cider vinegar for heartburn! Just put like half a tbsp in a few oz of water (until the water is colorless) and drink it. It really helps so much.

Oh how I wish I could drink coke all day long. Pregnancy always makes me want it.

I have been trying not to drink pop for a while now and it’s been going fine, not super hard to avoid and no real cravings. Except now there’s this iPad game my patients play where you follow directions to prepare food in restaurants and one part is filling up fountain drinks and the sound effects are so real that it makes me crave a fountain pop SO BAD.

It's been crazy here today. Stupid me agreed to watch two extra kids as drop-ins. What was I thinking??? Thankfully it was only for half the day and the rest of the kids are all down for naps. Finally I can sit down and catch up for a few minutes. I really just want to take like a 4 day nap or something.
Also, and totally off subject, about half of my maternity shirts are not fitting anymore and show the bottom of my belly when I wear them. Part of me doesn't even care and I definitely have no intentions of buying anymore with only 40 something days left. Surely nobody would dare say anything to a very obvious pregnant lady if her belly is slightly showing right?

And then you can use it as a sleeping shirt postpartum? Or maybe some nursing tanks you can layer, if you find any that go pretty long?

So just like I predicted, my H's business is getting super busy again, right in time for me to have this baby. I'm super happy for him and don't want to jinx it. But I'm also pretty sure that I'm probably going to end up driving myself to the hospital when I go into labor. Oh well. It'll be a funny story....right?

Maybe I can find some larger, less expensive tops to wear now and postpartum until I lose some of the extra baby weight.

I couldn't imagine driving while in active labor. With things at his job picking up, does that mean he won't be able to take a little time off to help you out once baby arrives?

I forget if I've asked this before (pregnancy brain is seriously an issue this time around), but are you all asking the people that will be in close contact with the baby immediately to get a flu shot? My parents got one and my FIL did, but my MIL is a baby about shots and won't unless we force her to. I'm just debating if it's worth the aggravation or not. They'll come to the hospital after the baby's born and I'm sure will be visiting a bunch so it's not like her exposure to the baby will be small. Ya I've wondered the same. I think DH would think I'm being extra to ask his parents to get it.

I don’t worry about the shots at this point. My girls bring so many germs home all on their own...I’d remind people to stay away if not well, but really anywhere you go will have germs.

Okay. I filled out and photocopied all my paperwork. It's in the mailbox for pickup tomorrow, to go to the hospital. Of course, I'm sure they'll make me fill it out again when I get there. stupid.
My list of caregivers for #s1+2 is done, with phone numbers. I will email them later.
My paperwork, cell charger, and some clothes are in my hospital bag. I will finish that tonight.

FFTC: if your bag or purse is taking up a seat on public transit, then I will say “excuse me” and wait it out until you move it and scoot over.

Our new floor just got delivered and we scheduled for it to be installed on Thursday. I can't wait to get my house back in some semblance of order and not have random things all over the place.

He said he would but then he loses the $. His business isn't that established yet so I don't want to risk it. I think I'll be dealing with him working a lot.

I'm well and truly at the point of always feeling like I have to pee. I'll be in the car on my way home, or just sitting on the couch, and feel like "OMG I have to pee so bad" and jet for the bathroom...and half the time it's a drop or two. And I still feel like I'm carrying fairly high, so what's going to happen if/when this baby drops? Maybe I'll start wearing Depends.

I woke up super nauseous this morning which only got worse. I got a headache at work with blurry vision so I came to triage. My first blood pressure was normal but my second and third were slightly elevated. So they are running bloodwork while they continue to monitor my blood pressure.
Baby looks great and has been kicking up a storm on the monitors but I feel awful.

Thanks ladies. My bloodwork came back fine and the last two readings were back to normal so they are sending me home. I'm starving and tired so I'm hoping to go to bed early tonight.

I feel awful. I’m crappy, exhausted, gassy...tmi...so not in a good place. Today was way way too much. I have so many things I want to do and my body is just not keeping up. Hard to believe outside babies are coming, but I need to get it together over here.

Eating a bunch of chocolate peanut butter ice cream right before bed is a super bad idea when you're this pregnant. I slept for a few hours then woke up feeling like I was going to throw up ice cream everywhere. Then I did throw up and couldn't fall back to sleep. I finally fell asleep around 5, only to wake up at 6:30. Womp.
And I'm really not even sure I can handle coming into the office until March. Every day now when I walk to/from the office I get these bad pains that I have to breathe through. It's not contractions just...not fun.
