I'm waiting on a package I have to sign for and then I'm heading in to work. I could straighten up the house or I could watch The Office on Netflix.

Yesterday was my first day back in a gym since September and I’m definitely feeling it this morning. Hurts so good! 😂

DS1 woke me up at full volume around 445 to announce that he had (accidentally, obvs) shit the bed and needed help getting clean. H was sleeping with him and DS2 was with me, but apparently H wouldn't wake up.
I have coffee and bleach.

Brushing teeth did not go well last night. Might have been an all time worst showing.
This morning I told my husband to put Elmo on the TV and have DD2 brush her teeth at the kitchen sink. I'll text him soon to see how it went.

chickenonsunday what works for us (sometimes) is giving her one toothbrush to play with while we brush with a second one. I'm hobbling around this morning. Fucked my back up something royal yesterday doing extreme sports - you know, looking to the side while slightly leaning. 🙄 Ugh. "Working from home," day 2. Wonder if my bosses will actually have anything for me.

I hate when I wake up 5 mins before my alarm. I lay there hoping it’s only like midnight and then very disappointed when I look at my phone.

I peeked in that post about books and gave out a few likes for the books I read. I quickly left the post because my reading game is lacking. I didn't feel like my contributions of Pinkalicious or Curious George would be welcomed.

I broke personal records last night with how often I was up to go to the bathroom or deal with leg cramps. So I’m really dragging today and MH leaves for NY tonight for work for the rest of the week. I wonder if I could put one of the children in his suitcase.

MH is going to be gone most of next month and I’m already trying to plot how much time I can actually spend at my mom’s house without becominng that guy. Like, can I just leave a suitcase there all month so I don’t have to pack everytime we come back?

I’ve got a pile of laundry to fold, bathrooms to clean and floors to vacuum. First coffee and toast, though.

DD's daycare teacher emailed me that dd didn't want to get off the bus today and seemed sad. I don't think it is anything at school because Friday she was telling me she was sad it was the weekend because she wanted to go to school. It breaks my heart.
I will talk to her tonight because I think she may have heard so and I fighting (not bad, but she isn't used to it)yesterday because she was clinging to me this morning and now I have mom guilt and want the day to go fast so I can talk to her.

DS coughed 3 times last night which woke me up and then obviously it took me 2 hours to get back to sleep. My brain was all jumbled from worrying about job stuff and I had had a weird dream where I gave my H permission to sleep with other people. The person he picked had way perkier boobs than me, so dream-me was very jealous and I woke up angry at him.

The baby spit up aaaalllll over me this morning after nursing. It was weird, he's almost a year old. He must have had a gas bubble or something because he was unphased by it. Now my sheets are back in the washer. 😒
We ordered the decor for his birthday party. I want to go walk around Party City to see what they've got too. I still need balloons, plates, bowls etc.

Ugh DD's two remaining daycare teachers are quitting this week. I hate all this upheaval for her. They're all going/have gone to the same place and I wish we could just move there, but it's 15 minutes in the wrong direction from either of our offices.

scoutboo in my experience yes, as long as you paint it back (or in some cases, prime it so they can paint) yes I've been allowed to paint all my rentals. I'm sure you could just write it into your rental agreement to start with.

When you rent a whole house, is it pretty common that they allow you to paint? Or is that fully regional/depends? The kids are angling to know what their rooms will look like when we move, I think because they are nervous, and I am not quite sure what I can promise them. It probably depends on the landlord and it doesn't hurt to ask. I would let them know that you are willing to paint it back before you leave. I was able to paint our nursery in our apartment, but my sister wasn't allowed to pain in her rental.

Good morning! I have nothing too fun going on over here. I recently watched Somebody Feed Phil and loved it, then found I’ll Have What’s Phil’s Having, so I’ll be binging that while I clean today. Such a fun show.

The kids are angling to know what their rooms will look like when we move, I think because they are nervous, and I am not quite sure what I can promise them. It's landlord's choice. Our former said do whatever we wanted, current says paint, but we have to get colors pre-approved. We told our tenants no painting bc we just had it professionally done through the whole house in '15.

Okay cool. Hopefully it won't be a thing. There's a lot of tuscan gold in the houses I'm seeing available, and I can't abide that. The landlords liked the colors I picked and just said leave the cans so they would have the colors for touch ups.

DH and I decided to book a little trip over spring break. We found a hotel and were ready to book when I realized it's Easter. We don't go to church but spend Easter with my family so I'm trying to figure out if we should still go. DH wants to go.
