I can no longer eat just golden grahams or cereal? For breakfast. My blood sugar crashed like whoa less than an hour after I got to work. My face was white and I was shaking and I almost passed out. I'd noticed feeling low after eating the cereal a few times but it only lasted like 15 minutes and then recovered. I ate my clif bar before 6 but I could feel it dropping again. I got a greek yogurt and a kind bar and a sprite to sip on. I hope the protein in the yogurt will help keep it level.

I truly love not using hormonal birth control, but holy hell, the period cramps. I really wish I could do my job while curled in a ball with my heating pad.

J's eye has been red/swollen for the last day or so but didn't seem like pink eye. R took him today to get it looked at since it looked worse and he has periorbital cellulitis. So poor buddy is on antibiotics for the second time this year and eye drops. How hard is it to put eye drops in a toddlers eye?

I keep a stash of them in my desk for my 10am snack. They work great for me as a pre-run snack to give me energy to make it through my workout.

But you definitely need something with protein. I hope you feel better and that the yogurt helps.

Definitely start adding a protein - eggs, sausage, yogurt.

I’ve been eating mostly dinner leftovers for breakfast because of I don’t get protein right away I feel awful. I even have a few peanut butter crackers before I get out of bed.

I was trying to figure out if it would require alligator wrestling, bribing or if there was an easy/painless way to do it. I swear, up until Thanksgiving the kid never got sick and since he got croup it's been one illness after another.

goldenbird one thing with the gestational diabetes diet I’ve had to follow is making sure to pair a protein with a carb. It helps to maintain your sugar level better. Almonds and triscuits are a go to snack of mine.

Hmmm, now I’m contemplating if I want to allow our future renters to paint? I’m leaning toward only upstairs in the bedrooms, just because it’s kind of open concept and it would be $$ for us to repaint the main areas if they do a crappy job.

Assholes that don’t feel the need to wait in the car line for school drop off piss me off. Your time isn’t more important than all the people following the rules.

Well today was PJ day at DD’s preschool and I completely forgot. So now I feel awful. I hope she’s not too upset. I’m going to get her a special lunch today to make both of us feel better. Ugh. I feel like such a jerk.

Can you have it in the lease that they would be required to repaint before moving out and if they don’t it comes out of security deposit to cover costs?

When you rent a whole house, is it pretty common that they allow you to paint? Or is that fully regional/depends? The kids are angling to know what their rooms will look like when we move, I think because they are nervous, and I am not quite sure what I can promise them. I have found it depends on the owner etc. *
*only two states

Today was Super Sandwich day at preschool where we had to send in your kid's favorite sandwich, but no nut products. My kid loves PB&J, so I just sent in a jelly sandwich. Are other people's toddlers eating roast beef sandwiches? What are they expecting here?

He likes sliced meat but not on bread.

Maybe you could stipulate that any painting be done by pros, and/or that you have to approve colors? Or just no tuscan gold allowed.

I just stood up to go get the laundry and felt some serious pain.
I might skip my walk today.

I'm not sure what I would send in that situation.

We are riding the condom train right now, but I’ve contemplated Paraguard. I couldn’t pull the trigger. I can commiserate with the pain though. Why do cramps radiate so much?? They make my hips and legs hurt. Maybe I’m weird.
