I'm getting my haircut Saturday and have looked ahead to make sure I'll be getting a cut shortly before delivery. I'll also want a pedicure and manicure too. I'll know after my growth scan in March if it's definitely a RCS or if I'll be allowed to try a VBAC. My hairdresser and I have already got my next few cuts planned out, so I know I'll get one just before my due date lol. My hairdresser is amazing, she legitimately cried when I told her I was pregnant

The bonus of knowing I’d be induced last time was that I was able to do the hair/eyebrows/mani-pedi the day before also. Not sure how that will work out this time!

Well I had been thinking about picking 5/15 for an RCS but my hairdresser is closed on Sundays & Mondays. So now I'll have to pick 5/16 so I can be sure to get in the day before.
Thinking of these things: does a RCS have to be at 39 weeks or can it be a couple days past? May 13 is Mother's day and my awful grandmother's birthday. I don't want my daughter to share a birthday with that mean bitch who, upon learning I was pregnant this time, told me I was ruining my life. Thanks Granny.

Both my scheduled will be a few days past 39 weeks, depending on how my ute is doing. My OB does scheduled sections on Tuesdays, I'll be 39 weeks on Saturday this time around and Friday last time around. We're also looking at being in the MFM office in the AM and the OR in the evening as well on any given random day, so it's really a crapshoot for my experience this time around. I was told to be packed & ready at 35 weeks.

jessila,I'm sorry your granny said that. That's terrible She's always been a crotchety old woman so it didn't seem too unexpected. H was at an 11 when I told him what she said.

His grandmother is the sweetest thing ever and was thrilled that I'm pregnant again. Granny's just...a piece of work and feels like her age is an excuse to say whatever she is thinking.

If she was still around guaranteed she'd have said something similar. Sorry she said that shit to you. If it was 5/13 though she could share a bday with my DD and me! (But seriously, can't blame you for not wanting that day.)

I love how all of us are thinking about having our hair done before delivery lol It was the best decision I ever made. The next time I made it back to the salon was on my birthday, when V turned 3 months.

It's a good day you guys! DH and I sat down and had a very long chat and cemented what the future looks like. We are not going to be ready to move in the next 10 weeks, which would need to happen for me to deliver in CA. Plus his paternity leave at his current job is very nice and hard to pass up on. So, we will stay here through the birth and our move will be early August. Moving cross country with a nb will suck I'm sure but it's the best option. Plus knowing now means we can start packing non-essentials ASAP, so we will make it work. And the upside is I get to stick with my MW's who I really love AND the doula who I had for DD and adore can be my doula again!

I did my glucose test this morning, FX it comes back in the normal range. I've had a headache and have been dizzy and tired all day; I don't remember that being an issue last time, but I hadn't had food for about 18 hours by the time the test wrapped up, so that was probably a factor.

I'm hoping this baby comes by her due date so I can be 8w PP. Either my mom or my MIL will likely be coming out to help me fly cross country with a toddler, a nb, and 2 cats. DH will stay back to get the truck loaded and supervise the workmen who need to come in and do some minor repairs to get the house on the market. Yayyyy...

Yeah, my mom is going to help me fly and we're shipping the cat out a week or two prior. Fortunately, fate smiled upon us and this duty station happens to be less than three hours from my parents house, so I'll stay with them while DH does the drive. Then hopefully we can leave the big boys with them for a few days while we get moved in. Gotta say I'm not at all sad to be missing pack out. DH gets to handle that on his own this time.

So glad things have fallen into place robot. Good luck with the moves ladies! I’ll be moving in about 3 weeks when our house is finally done, but it’s only 2 streets away.

That's so great that you get to be near your family. That's what will keep me going too, we'll be back near mine and all of DH's family. I'm going to have to be less of a control freak about packing. Normally I pack all the fragile things but that might not work out so well this time.

I've felt really weird and off all day. Tired, sluggish, heavy, generally overemotional. I took a shower earlier and randomly got really sad and started sobbing for absolutely no reason. MH was all "wtf?" And I had no answer for him.
Only good thing about today is that because I've been so much less active than I normally am I've been feeling baby move more. But I realllly hope I don't feel the same way tomorrow.
