My Braxton Hicks are generally painless. Theyโve started lately. Towards the end of my first pregnancy I would be having a scan and theyโd stop cause I was contracting and I didnโt even know!

Iโm glad to hear everyone is saying BH are painless. I had idea thatโs what was happening until I googled. Thank you Google

My BH are painless as well. Just a tightening sensation.
With DS I got the lemon line glucose drink and it wasnโt terrible. Tasted like sprite. This time all they had was orange and fruit punch. I donโt like orange stuff much so I did fruit punch. Definitely took effort to drink it but it was fine

Iโve only ever had the orange glucose drink. I think Iโd prefer fruit punch.

I had the orange drink last time and actually didn't mind it that much. Like, I wouldn't drink it voluntarily but it just tasted like extra sweet punch to me. +1 to this

Oh yeah, so I had a mild scare today. After lunch I had a gush of fluid, and it wasn't immediately obvious where it came from. So of course I ran and grabbed my phone and started googling. Turns out my bladder just sucks XD

Pdq
A/s was today, of course baby didn't want to cooperate and I had to lay on my side for a while. No face pics either. Also, I have no idea what I'm looking at here but...

That's exciting, mrsweasley! Does that mean you have to go in again for face pics later? I'm kind of excited to drink my orange drink. I figure it might be kind of close to the discontinued Hi-C drink from McDonald's. I miss that stuff.

My second pregnancy all of my BH were painless. This time, not so much. I get plenty of painless ones, but also some very painful ones, and some that feel identical to actual contractions (except they stop when I move).

I'm pretty sure I've never had BH. I think I must be weird. Honestly pretty much the only reason I felt them was because I was laying down with my hand on my belly when they happened lol

With DS, I didnโt even realize that I was having BH. I just thought that it was the baby pushing around on my stomach. My dr had to point it out to me as I was having one in the office. So totally painless but weird sensation.

I remember really paying attention to it with DD because everyone on my BMB were having bad so many but Iโm nearly positive I didnโt. ๐คทโโ๏ธ No big deal, some people donโt, just weird.

we got the crib assembled this weekend and last weekend H and my FIL finished the shiplap wall. The glider is in and I also ordered a bunch of art for the walls. We went to Ikea yesterday to get her dresser ($50 off) but they were out of stock so we will need to head back sometime this week (grrr. it's 45 minutes in no traffic, 90 minutes with traffic).
Sneak Peak:
Your crib color is adorable!

I'm going to pop back in and try and be more active. My DH was gone again for another 6 weeks, my assistant quit so I've been pulling double duty, and second pregnancies are killer. I don't remember feeling this terrible physically this early.
Anywho, besides all that, I got the paint for the nursery and hope to do that this weekend. I see my OB every two weeks now, and my next appointment is the dreaded glucose test and a follow up to check on my placenta previa and see if she is still breech. Fun times all around!

I know they're the same type of drug but unisom works way better for me (sleep wise) than benedryl. I tried benedryl at the beginning of this pregnancy since we always have it at home and unisom was the clear winner. I'm impressed at your amount of sleep. And jealous. I slept from 9:30 to 6 this morning. I also wish that we could bank up our sleep now for the sleepless nights that are coming. May we all have magical unicorn babies that sleep. Lol at magical unicorn babies. Iโm naively hoping that I get even a partially good sleeper after DS1. I have PTSD from years of bad sleep. Also LOL'ing at magical unicorn babies. DD is almost 3 and still doesn't sleep. I may actually die of sleep deprivation this time around.

I said the same thing to my OB on Monday, because my back has been killing me and I don't remember it happening this early with DD and he just kind of laughed and said pretty much the only good thing about the 2nd pregnancy is that labor tends to be quicker but other than that, they can just kind of suck. I really appreciated his honesty. I've felt like such a mess lately!

All normal, all terrible. I'm a mess haha

I'm pretty sure I've never had BH. I think I must be weird. I've been googling BH vs. baby kicks vs. hiccups. I'm still not sure what's what.

numbears I'm already wondering if there's an alternative. I can't take any liquid medications because they make me gag and vomit and I'm thinking I'm going to have the same reaction to the drink. They only had orange at my OB, but I've heard red's better if your clinic has it.

I'm pretty sure I've never had BH. I think I must be weird. I've been googling BH vs. baby kicks vs. hiccups. I'm still not sure what's what. My BH feels like an elastic band is tightening just above my pubic bone. Sometimes when I stand up from sitting, itโs tighten and I think oh Iโve pulled something but then it doesnโt hurt and just passes. I feel it right across my stomach, bottom of the bump. Like your pants have gotten too tight from eating and you want to loosen them.

I'm a mess too LOL
