I brought a snack to bed with me tonight for when I get up to have a pee, go back to bed, get comfy, only to realize I'm hungry

After 1st tri, my first pregnancy was enjoyable, and the second was ok. But this third one is kicking my rear. I...am not looking forward to #4.

I have/had the worst stomach bug of my life yesterday and I'm hoping it's just lingering effects today. Is Immodium safe to take? I'm reading mixed things but my OB's med list says it's safe. It'd be nice to leave my bedroom today and minimally interact with my kid.

Though when I had a bug last year, I remember the doctor telling me that immodium can just prolong the illness because it prevents your body from getting rid of the virus.

V has been really into the baby yesterday and today. When I picked him up from daycare yesterday, he showed me a doll and said it was a baby, like mommy has in her belly. Then we talked most of the way home about how the baby is growing and is his brother, and how his aunt has a baby in her belly just like mommy. My mom watched him last night and took him to the store to pick out toys for the baby, and he showed them to me proudly when I got home and wanted to give them to the baby now.
My favorite, though, was this morning when he came over and kissed my belly and hugged it and said "mommy, that's my brother".

We got up early thanks to DS. All the sheets and towels and rugs have been washed. I’m running his bath toys through the dishwasher. We are going out for Mexican for lunch and then I’m taking a fat nap. It’s the best kind of Saturday.

I took it when I woke up with round 2 of the stomach bug the morning of my brother's wedding in December. Lifesaver.

jessila not sure if you can take it in pregnancy or not but anytime I get a stomach bug, emetrol works for me.

RCS is scheduled for April 27! Earliest time is 1pm though - so I asked if something becomes available earlier to book me for that.... just due to the fasting for 8 hours puts me at eating no later than 5am and I'd love to not have to get up that early to eat lol.

We went to a parade last night and DS came away with two bags full of mostly toys and stuffed animals. I asked him what he'd share with DS. So he makes a "baby brother box" with an alligator bead, toy frogs, and a moon pie. Nothing baby appropriate, but definitely made me happy that he was willing to share.
And today, I finally went through the clothes that I kept from DS. I realized that I got rid of most of the newborn and 0-3, 3-6 sizes. But that's okay. It just means I get to buy new ones.

I'm miserable this time and I don't think I'm going to do this again. DH keeps freaking out because "but it wasn't like this before!" Yes, dear, but this is still perfectly normal, albeit sucky. So you just get to put up with a raging wife for the next thirteen or so weeks. Deal.

Sooo, my parents sent me a link to a cute little house, close to my best friends house, that is like ridiculously cheap. Mine and H's credit sucks, but I'm still thinking it might be worth it to go see a mortgage broker and see what we could get approved for.

This pregnancy has been completely different than my first...not in a good way. So it makes me feel fairly confident we will be done after this one. We were always leaning towards 2 but this solidifies it even more for me.

My first pregnancy sucked physically. This one is a whole new level of hell. My body is so broken. DH is very much done after this and I might have fought him on that before this (I wanted 3) but I doubt I will now.

This pregnancy is pretty similar to my first, though I've been a bit sicker and WAY more tired and achy (age and a toddler are probably factoring into that too). I feel like I did at the end of 3rd tri last time, and I'm just starting 3rd tri now.

We wanted three kids, but this one took so long to get and HG has been the worst. I was at home for the second and third trimester with DS so that may have made it easier, too.

This pregnancy has been so much worse than my first. And very different.
I’m still not sold on just two kids though!

At my OB on Thursday i was telling her the differences between this pregnancy and my first and she said most of my issues are typical subsequent pregnancy issues. No thanks.

My first pregnancy was so good (besides the fact I had gallstones and that was hell) this one has been very hard and not enjoyable. I know I want more that 2 though!

For anyone playing along at home, DD’s cousin (who she has been having issues with) had her 2nd birthday party today. I was nervous cause it was at the cousin’s house where shit has hit the fan lately. DD was an angel, shared like a star and generally made her cousin look crazy and emotional (which she’s not, she’s 2, but I’m so sick of my family acting like my 2.5 yo DD is ‘the bad one’). Cousin’s dad has clearly been bitching about DD because several people at the party saw me run off to supervise (making sure no shoves were thrown by DD) and they all said ‘oh is she not a good sharer’ and ‘oh it’s going to be on now’. Hmm. I know I can’t control it but I felt defensive. They’ve both had an off day in the past, but today DD was a superstar. I was so proud. And (maybe petty but true) glad my mum got to see how sometimes it’s not DD being the aggressor, it can be all her cousin too!

adeline glad it was a positive day. It sucks to feel like you (and your kid) are under a microscope and being judged constantly, not to mention by your own family. I hope they take a step back, especially as your niece enters this phase and they realize it's quite typical.

Second tri of my first pregnancy was great while this time not so much. I don't particularly enjoy being pregnant especially since I tend to only feel okay for less than 12 weeks of it. Prior to ever being pregnant I had wanted three kids. I'm firmly in the two and through camp now.

Anyone else gotten a yeast infection during their pregnancy(s)? I've got a bad one right now and trying to decide if I should call my OB or just try to ride through it.

adeline, that's a great update considering birthday parties can be overstimulating to any kid. Glad she had a good day! Speedy, call your OB. She'll probably be able to tell you something to use over-the-counter. On my Pregnancy Safe List from my OB, she has approved medicine and directions to follow and when to notify the OB.

Definitely address it, I wouldn't ride out any infection while pregnant. I had one in December and took OTC Monistat (there are certain ones that are better for pregnancy, I had to do the 7 day one). I would check with your OB first, though.
