Anyone else gotten a yeast infection during their pregnancy(s)? I've got a bad one right now and trying to decide if I should call my OB or just try to ride through it. Yes and it was horrible. Nurse line told me to try the OTC stuff but it didn’t work and was horrible. So OB prescribed me the pill medication which works really well and is safe for pregnancy. Skip the OTC and ask your OB for the good stuff.

Thanks guys. I apparently have a "complicated" yeast infection from what I've been reading, and it's caused some of the fissures to turn into sores . I normally get a yeast infection when I take antibiotics, but this is the worst one I've ever had. I've been using some cream and airing my bits and washing rather than using toilet paper, which all seem to be helping, but I'll give a call first thing tomorrow morning and see what they say.

Speedy I got a YI during 1st tri and the fissures were so painful. That was my main symptom, really. I used aquaphor down there for probably close to 2 weeks to keep them from reopening (sorry, if that's TMI...). You have my sympathy! it's the worst!

So the yeast infection is actually done, I'm just waiting for everything to heal up down there. I'm doing everything right, they told me to just take some Tylenol for pain control and soak my bits. If they don't heal up in another week I'm to call back, but everything seems to be closing up. So annoying!

This pregnancy has been way worse than my 1st too. I felt amazing after 1st tri with my first. This time, not so much. I still have food aversions and intermittent nausea. And I'm so damn exhausted (I'm sure the toddler has something to do with this...). In a weird way though, I'm kind of relieved because now I know for sure I am done after this.

I just woke up from a nap. If I didn't have to get Hs food ready I'd probably fall back asleep. Such horrible sleep lately

I've come down with a cold which is making sleep at night so uncomfortable. I'm at work but there's a major snow storm happening so I'm debating using that as an excuse to peace out early.

The kids had a 2 hr delay today and I completely spaced and forgot my OB appt this morning. My phone decided the alert I set for it was optional also. I'm so mad at myself, but they were understanding and rescheduled for Thur

I'll be delivering 12 weeks from today, at the latest. But, it could really be anytime from the next 9-12 weeks. I made our "before baby gets here" to do/shopping list and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting something(s).

tinyjoys, looks pretty good to me, but I have absolutely no idea what I need to be doing. I should probably start making a list lol I decided to clean/organize today, and one of the things that I did was pull down my African violets from the top of my fridge where they've been living since the cat realized that he could climb into the window where they were before. I had forgotten to water them for like 2 months, so I was fully expecting them to be dead. To my utter surprise, they're a little dehydrated but still alive, and one even had new growth! I think I'm going to take the root balls out to water and aerate the soil and replant them. Then I just have to find where to put them that the cat won't knock them off every few days.

tinyjoys I don’t know if you’re having a C section or not, but making padsicles was the best prep thing I did pre-delivery. I don’t know that they’d be useful post section, though?

I am a RSC, I don't think they'd be that useful. I haven't bothered with them either other time and doubt I'll notice a difference in the grand scheme of things.

Shit! tinyjoys post reminded me to count how many weeks I have til my RCS...11!! I feel like we have so much going on in between too. I’ve been doing some nesting and purging of all the things recently and deep cleaning things here and there. My H has 2 business and 1 personal trip in between now and then. We have our babymoon. I’m going out of town for 2 baby showers. Throwing DS an early birthday party. On top of preparing for this baby...whom still has no name.

I haven’t prepared anything yet for the baby. Daycare won’t have a spot until December so I’ve been focused on figuring out my leave, looking for an au pair, getting the extra room turned into another guest bedroom for the au pair, house repairs, decluttering the whole house and trying to set up the basement as a playroom/workout space or else our house will continue to be a mess. It’s taken up all of my free time and energy. It hasn’t helped that something new comes up every week making me less productive at work (DS sick, snow day, today daycare is closed because of a gas leak, etc...).
We have a car seat seat and bassinet somewhere. I’ll be the one googling names on the way to the hospital and ordering odds and ends on amazon prime while being wheeled out of RCS surgery.

I'm trying to avoid vaganus, round 2.

My MW gave me a big packet today about birth plans and the hospital and all of that. I’m just over here sweating bullets... I’m so not ready. It still feels so far away. Luckily we have almost everything left from DD so really don’t need much.

I’m in a funk. My sister and I usually spend this week in NoLa together, but we skipped this year. We both have really good reasons but still in a funk. Hoping I can sneak in a trip to California to visit her before I’m too far along to fly.

I grow tiny werewolves. They’re furry & run warm. Lately, I’ve gotten heartburn from ALL. THE. THINGS. including water, which is annoying.
