It's a rainy dreary day here so I'm having such a hard time feeling awake. I'd kill for more coffee but I try to be good about limiting myself to 1 cup to get my day started.
I just had to unbutton and unzip my pants at my desk. I'm not even 6 weeks yet, WTF?

The symptoms are for real. I feel like such a jerk. My poor kid and husband. I was basically a lump this weekend and only left the house once. H took S to get me some ginger morning sickness candies and preggo pops (HATE the name) and tea. He's a good man. He told me he just bought one of everything. My sweet sweet child came home and said "Mama we got your medicine! You feel better now!!"

Nymeria, I'm totally feeling the bloat too. It's mostly I just don't want clothes touching my stomach. I need to find some dresses & skirts pronto. Skinny jeans are not my friend right now.

I'm so bloated too. But I'm incredibly lucky and work from home, so I can wear sweat pants and leggings errrday.

We’ve got bad weather here. I have an hour commute, so decided to stay home from work. Best decision ever. I got terrible sleep last night and my back really hurts today. I can’t find my heating pad (maybe I got rid of it?) so my H is picking one up and hopefully that will provide some relief!
The bloat is SO real.

Also it's 8 pm and I'm done. Ready for bed already. Lol.
This third pregnancy is no joke- everything is happening earlier.

The bloat situation is real. I too feel like a bump on a log. I'm just so freaking tired and nothing sounds good to eat. Greasy foods seem to calm my stomach though. Isn't that counter intuitive?

All I want are french fries! Not greasy, but I bought a bag of doritos and they were so satisfying. Totally not something I normally have because imported chips are pricier.

I'm seriously jealous of those of you who work from home or have any reason to get to wear soft pants/leggings/sweatpants on a daily basis. I'm here at work in my dress pants and am seriously uncomfortable. Might need to find some work-appropriate dresses ASAP. I seriously cannot wait to break back into my maternity clothes, but can't until we announce or it would be a dead giveaway to anyone who knows me lol.

I’m all for pulling out my stretching pregnancy jeans. I’ve got enough fat and bloat to keep them up! I’m all about the comfort.

Wow it's pouring today! Currently working from Toyota while my car is in for a service appointment and the highway to get here was flooded in spots. Like multiple inches of rain on the highway. That was not a fun ride.

flyliceandcoffee I just heated up leftover pot roast and veggies for DD and DH, and made a toasted cheese bagel with lots of butter for myself. Give me all the fat and carbs.

I tried the unisom/B6 combo for nausea last night, and that unisom is serious business. One half tab made me pass out while sitting up at 9:00, and I couldn't drag myself out of bed until 7. Maybe I'll try 1/4 tab next time. On the bright side, my stomach feels 10x better today.
So now I'm feeling drowsy at my desk and thinking that the pasta that I ordered for lunch wasn't the best idea if I want to stay awake. Caffeine will be had this afternoon.

The bloat and constant nausea are killing me. I'm in jeans and sitting most of the day today and I'm so uncomfortable.

Hello, nausea and heartburn. After a relatively symptom free few weeks, today I feel hungover. Kind of makes me happy, makes it feel more real, I also seriously need some tums.

My icky, not quite nausea but definitely unwell feeling is back with a vengeance too. Plus the heartburn. holy crap the heartburn. 3 times in a week is crazy, especially because it's so early! I don't think I got heartburn until like third tri with my previous kids....if this continues for the next 8 months i'm screwed.

I have an ultrasound today and I'm so nervous but also excited to hopefully get some reassurance that things are going ok. My symptoms are a lot different than my pregnancy with DD so I'm always questioning if everything is alright. I wish PGAL brain would just go away!

I could not believe how bad my heartburn got 3rd tri with DS. I can't imagine having to deal with it now along with feeling crappy in general!

With DD I felt like I was on my deathbed for 14 weeks. Now I feel mostly like a human, albeit a tired one. Nausea and vomiting are just touch and go and not constant. It’s weird and messes with my brain.

Obviously not scientific by any means, but I feel like people I know who were more sick always end up having girls and less sick were boys.

I wish my GMIL's birthday was a bit later or I was further along. With DS we waited until after 12 weeks but my GMIL's 90th birthday is February 8 and we're celebrating on the 10th. I would love to be able to tell her she's getting another great-grandchild for her birthday but considering I'm not having any u/s until the NT scan in another 1 - 1 1/2 months I'm not ready to tell people.

good luck today brenna! ftwr, it's crazy how EACH time can be soooo very different. With my daughter, I legit had like no symptoms at all. With my son, I could curb any ill feelings by grabbing a granola bar or something. This time, as the day progresses I just start feeling more crappy and eating only makes it worse. hahahaha. it's all a crapshoot!

brenna Good luck today! I definitely feel like everything is happening faster this time. Maybe it's just because I know what to expect (heh) now, but I don't recall feeling this pregnant by 8 weeks with my son.

Good luck brenna! My sickness has been kicking in the past few days. I'm pretty sure it's only going to get worse, so I'm living in a state of dread. The past three nights I've woken up in the early a.m. feeling unwell. I don't know if I need to burp, or fart, or maybe I'm hungry or thirsty, or my usual sleeping position is just uncomfortable for my puffy, bloated belly. But I'm having a hard time getting back to sleep and then I'm struggling during the day. And I feel extra awful because my DS is going through a whiney/crying phase and I'm having a really hard time dealing when I'm tired and don't feel well. My patience level is not good and I feel horribly guilty about it. Thanks for letting me vent....
