After wallowing in my self pity all weekend, I'm going to jump back in tonight.
I see a few posts have been made in the Week 2 thread, so let's mosey on over here and start fresh.

I didn't end up skiing today, I let SO sleep in instead.
I did the last week 2 cardio and the fit test...then I almost puked. I smashed the first few and then petered out.
I'm down .8lbs and half an inch around my waist. I'm measuring, even though my goals are non-scale or size related.

Oops, cross post from week 2 thread, I missed this thread.
I guess I'm taking a sick day today. I had my work out clothes on after procrastinating for forever, got day 16 on the screen, and then....just couldn't do it. I'll either double up at some point, or just use this as my rest day and work out straight through the weekend.

I did the week 2 strength and abs this morning. Back to my 5:30 workouts. Ouch.
I also have a friend who is 6 months post partum and just started 5.0. I’m so excited for her.

I did my fit test today, and beat most of my scores, but matched my prisoner squats. I also did day 13 cardio. So I am back on my schedule (a day behind).

Did the fit test yesterday but I didn't record the reps. DH commented yesterday that my arms look more toned. Now if only the tummy would cooperate....

Did day 16 today. Skipped yesterday’s fit test to shovel my driveway. But I’ll probably double up a different day and still do it just so I have the numbers. Then again, maybe I won’t. Goal this week is to not skip anything but yesterday’s fit test. (I figured 40 minutes of shoveling made up for it though) I also want to watch my food choices better. I’m trying really hard to not snack during the day. Oh and keep up with my water.

I'm happy that it's the cardio from week 1 again. I like those moves better than week 2.

Day 9 done. I hate butt kickers. Maybe more than burpees. honda, how are you doing today? Still on the couch. Trying to get up the motivation. Omg I'm actually looking forward to some butt kickers. I was on a dance team for years, that takes me back.

Done with 16. I usually like strength more but I was glad today was cardio. Had some aggression to get out 😬

Fell asleep on the couch with work stuff in my lap around 11p last night. Then I woke up around 4:30 and couldn't fall back asleep even though I should have been able to sleep in this morning. Gave up at 6 and did the fit test. Considering my butt was dragging, I was pretty pleased.
Prisoner squats: +/- 0 Push-ups: +5 (all modified- push-ups get me every damn time) Mtn climbers: +10 Alt lunges: +2 Jump squats: +3 High knees: +22 Bridge tri dips: +14 Plank up downs: +4
I feel like I should have given myself more rest time between the fit test and the ab series though, because I thought I kept thinking I was going to fall over on the pike plank and the crab crunch thing.

Finished day 16 tonight. I kept getting interrupted by my son though so it was a so-so effort. I’m seriously tempted to sign up for the vip stuff for a couple months... Her constant endorsements and advertisements are working...

Day 16 + abs done. I was breathing hard after the 2 rounds so I didn't add any extra. I couldn't do the crab crunch ab move, my body was like wuttttt. So I did more bicycles.

Just did day 16. I went through a bunch of stuff looking for a folder to put tax documents in and I found several unused journals. I remember I always thought I should journal and would buy nice notebooks and then never follow through. This is the year I'm getting my shit together. Has anyone started journaling when they haven't done that before? Where should I start? I journal sporadically. What about a daily gratitude journal? Or affirmations or compliments you pay to yourself? Or were you wanting more of a place to process certain thoughts or habits?

I like cardio so much better than strength. I am sooooo the opposite I find strength days easier, and I used to prefer them. But now that I've been pushing myself harder on cardio days I get that after-workout endorphin high, and it's pretty great.

Day 16 done. Holy fuck, I am tired and sweaty. I like this set of moves because I can really push myself and see results.
I outdid week 1 scores across the board and that makes me feel very 💪

Day 16 done. I did 3 rounds. I was going to run also, but with the new dog, I didn’t have time. I’ll try to squeeze something else in this evening. Maybe yoga.
This cardio series is so much better than week 2.

nochill I journal sporadically. I think a gratitude journal would be a great place to start. I have also done a stream-of-consciousness style of journaling where you write as soon as you wake up for a set time (I can't even remember how long it was, 10 minutes?) You don't even read it, you just write whatever comes into your head, to help clear your thoughts. You can write "I have no thoughts" for ten minutes, if you want, you just keep writing for the allotted time. It's an interesting kind of meditation, almost. I also had a journal buying habit that I had to break. Now I can lovingly look at them in the store but haven't bought one in a couple of years. I have a stack to choose from if I feel the urge. 😬
