Been a'runnin' and got 2.29 for leap day during lunch. Also spent too much on a new singlet but it's a little weird and I love it and I can't wait for it: linkUh, I love and I want!

Howdy.
Another after school workout for me today. I am just exhausted all the time. I'm broken.
30 minute interval run with JJ 10 minute arms and shoulders with Ben 5 minute core with Olivia 5 minute stretch with Camila
Yoga tonight. I really need to try and get up tomorrow so I can get my full hour in. Although, the kids have been really good about my after school workouts this week. The fact that I've gotten 50 minutes uninterrupted two days in a row feels like a big shift, so that's good. I still don't like 4pm though.
Anyways, I had a few chocolates at school today, otherwise food is good.

cnf you're definitely not broken for being exhausted all the time. I feel the same way, and my kids aren't even as young as yours! Shit is overwhelming. We're all so busy, we're constantly bombarded with information, most of us aren't really sleeping through the night.... I mean give us a break.

Deadlifts and bench today. Bench continues to improve 🎉🎉. I think upping my running has stalled my lower lifts but I’m ok with that.

Evening!
Recovery day for me - 30 min Pilates with Kristin, 10 min hips focus flow with Kristin, 20 min walk.
B - Skinnytaste bagel, turkey bacon, fruit L - buffalo chicken salad D - ugh, I accidentally bought a Blue Apron box this week. I have gotten it on occasion and still have the subscription and just cancel it for as many weeks in a row as they allow, but sometimes I forget to go in and do that, and a box gets sent. I do this about once or twice a year lol. Anyway, their meals are fine but higher calorie. I did switch my preference to the "healthier" ones in anticipation of these F ups, at least, but they're still heavier than my usual weeknight meals. But I made one tonight - cheesy baked chicken and garlic bread. I used half the butter and cheese they sent in hopes of cutting down a little, and it was pretty good! I love a crusty baguette. Hello! I got back from my work conference yesterday. I really went outside my comfort zone and used the hotel gym even though there were other people in there. I got 4 miles on the treadmill on Monday and did W5D2 of beginner strength on Tuesday. Wednesday I did a 4 mile tempo run when I got home. Today was a 6 mile easy run and I finished my second round of Crush Your Core and finished week 5 of beginner strength.
I really hate the last class of CYC. The 5 minutes straight of plank variations just comes out of nowhere. You don’t do close to that amount anywhere else in the program so I still don’t have the shoulder strength for it. I end up not even feeling it in my core. Ugh.

This week has been bonkers here too. Something must be in the air.
Nothing yesterday but two dog walks.
Today I did a 20 min 2010s hip hop ride with Camila for my 250th ride and a 30 min chest, shoulders and triceps strength with Callie (split day 2). Followed with a 5 min upper body stretch with Callie.

i took a rest day yesterday as it was more of a stress filled day. family shit went down and i basically told H he needed to leave. I am hoping to fit in a nice hard run after work before i grab the kids today. i need to run out my emotions so i can stay rock solid for the kiddos.

I’ve just been plugging along, still with this head cold / allergies thing.
Guess I needed the rest day yesterday because, though I was struggling the first 15 minutes, I realized I was chasing a PR and committed to hitting that. Yay! 5 min warm up, 30 min 90s rock ride, 5 mins stretch.
Weather looks good for outdoor runs next week.
