Let's check in here for our last week of BBM 5.0 (for some of us), and talk about our workout plans moving forward!

Thank you! I was meaning to start this...but lazy!
I'm here to cheer y'all on. And die from Jillian.

Thanks for the tag. I started bbm 6.0 last week. I’m not really feeling it and she is getting on my last nerve so I’m not sure if I want to keep going with it

Thanks for the tag. I started bbm 6.0 last week. I’m not really feeling it and she is getting on my last nerve so I’m not sure if I want to keep going with it SO asked me what I was doing next, because he wants to join. I don't think I can subject him to her nonsense. I also think I need a break...maybe if she does 7.0 in January/February. One thing that really helped me was writing everything down in a journal. I didn't always count reps, but having it all written down in one place helped me be accountable. I picked a 6 week workout plan off Pinterest and wrote it out with rest days built in. I'm hoping to keep myself accountable going forward. I just can't Jillian. Effective or not, she makes me want to skip the workout and shove cake in my cake hole. It's weird.

I am viscerally anti-Jillian as well. I find her level of muscle definition aggressive or something.

Thanks @rocknroll!
I basically took all of last week off 😬. I had every intention on doing the first day of week 13 today (had my gear on, mat out, Briana on the TV), but my kid didn't allow it. Tomorrow, tho.
I think I'll do 6.0 starting in Jan. I'll play around with other YouTube videos until then.

I can’t deal with Jillian either, loony. I keep seeing this body boss workout ad on Facebook that is intriguing, but I don’t think I want to pay for a workout program right now, maybe I should look on Pinterest.

I fell off in the past month and realized I needed something more, longer workouts and around people to compete with. So I joined Orange Theory and bought a Soul Cycle package but I’m here to cheer you guys on and see your results and what’s next!

So I joined Orange Theory and bought a Soul Cycle package but I’m here to cheer you guys on and see your results and what’s next! I feel the same about the intensity, but I'm lucky to get 20 minutes five days a week. (And today both kids head butted me while I attempted wonder womans). I would cut many things out of the budget if a gym here had childcare.

No idea what’s next for me. I need something at home that I can do after DD goes to bed, I find too many excuses not to go if I join a gym or whatever. I might try Jillian.
I’m definitely stronger and in better shape now, but I weigh the same as when I started, if not a few pounds more. I wouldn’t care so much but I still have a good deal of weight to lose.
Either way, I am proud of myself for sticking with this and so thankful for this group. Starting off I was a complete beginner. At the very least I have some level of fitness ability now, and even look forward to workouts.

At the very least I have some level of fitness ability now, and even look forward to workouts. So here’s what I’m thinking. Briana actually talked about this last week, I think. She suggested if you’ve been doing great with following the workouts but not so much the nutrition, to keep up the routine of working out (and not ramping it up) and focus your energy on changing your diet. Especially if you’ve stalled on weight loss but feel like you’ve developed the workout habit. Which is where I am, and it sounds like maybe you are too. So I’m thinking I will either do her Maintenance series or the last few weeks of 6.0, and work on making diet changes. And then when I’m in a better habit with that too, ramp up the workouts again? Start 7.0, or BBM Extreme? I’m not sure.

I was too afraid to go all in with exercise and nutrition since I haven't done either in so long, plus I'm breastfeeding and my supply is super sensitive to calorie dips. But I'm ready to eat healthier and the baby is older so I'm thinking of doing 7.0 + ab series and trying her nutrition plan- or maybe doing the nutrition on my own. In Jan.

I just did 82. I'm hoping to wrap this up on Sunday! I likely won't do the Day 90 Fit test.

Just did day 85. I'm glad to be back. I almost convinced myself on Sunday that it wasn't worth finishing after taking a week off. Like all my progress must have been reversed and I couldn't possibly have the stamina for week 13. No no no.

I'm stopping. I'm way behind (week 9) and just can't fit it in each day. We live with my parents while we build our house and my husband works long hours. Add in this terrorist thing my 4 and 2 year old have going on. I just can't right now. I'm going to wait until we are settled in our house, should be by spring. I'll still get some workouts in and I have a rowing machine but I just can't commit to a set plan.
Congratulations to all that have stuck with it! So proud of you all! I hope to do 7.0 once I can commit so I'll stop in and see how everyone likes it next year.

Day 80 in the books! That little baby of hers is so fucking cute.
As for what's next, I would like to keep going until she does 7.0, so I am going to attempt Jillian until that happens. I need to keep moving, especially during the holiday season.
I've lost about 15 lbs since starting and have way more than that to go.

It was raining this morning when I got up at 5, so I doubled up and did day 79 and 80. The 3 rounds of tabata were intense, but totally manageable. I was a sweaty mess when I was done, but I pushed myself and wrapped up the AM workout with Jessica Smith's 10-minute ab circuit.
I am still undecided as to what I plan to do next, but I know I want to keep with some sort of activity throughout the holidays and I have enjoyed having a specific plan to follow to keep me on-track and motivated.

I slept in and skipped my workout. I was exhausted and I think I’m fighting off a cold. I’ll try to do some relaxing yoga tonight and maybe a midday walk.
I’m going to try Jillian again tomorrow.
I’ve read a lot of reviews that are negative about 4.0 and 6.0. But I’ve read a lot of positive about 3.0. I wonder about going and doing that one. I’m a little concerned about starting at the beginning but I would be using heavier weights, so I think it could work. I might check out some of those videos today and see what I think. I need something < 30 minutes, at home, and preferably free.

It’s totally doable on any fitness level. I’m great with weights/floor exercises but I walk on the treadmill and I still get a killer workout.

There is one really close to my house and another really close to my office, but I have just always been intimidated.

I didn't do BBM, but I am starting a new program next week. P90X. Excited and intimidated all at the same time. I did this years ago and I didn't follow it super strictly but there were several workouts that I really enjoyed. Good luck!
