DS1 loves play kitchens, dolls and doll strollers, cars, trains and especially little tiny dolls and play houses. Most people who are in his life are good about not pushing gender role stuff on him but my dad really struggles as does one of my superiors at work. She was like “why do you let him play with dolls?” Ummm because he likes to?

I told her nothing I do will change his gender identity or sexuality so what does it even matter, and whatever he identifies as or whom he is attracted to also doesn’t matter. She’s trying to be more open which is a start.

For whatever reason DD2 would not sleep last night and was awake from 11 p.m. - 3:50 a.m. I had to be up by 6:15 a.m. to get ready for the day. 😩😣 I'm so tired.

you guys, our vanity finally came and it is NOT damaged!🎉. our contractor is coming tomorrow to finish things up. i don't even care what happens the rest of the week because after 3 months of waiting, we will finally have a finished bathroom.

I’m dying over here ladies. I was up all night with acid burps and cramps and then this morning I finally threw up. It hasn’t stopped. Dd2 is still sick. Dd1 went to school thank goodness, but the little one cannot be trusted. She’s got lipgloss in her hair and is in her pjs. I don’t care. Today’s goal is survival. My kids are terrible tv watchers so I know that won’t work.

I have my AS this afternoon. I am weirdly nervous. Like, I don't even want to go. I don't want to drink all that water. I am not confident in my bladder like I was last time. I'm terrified of something being wrong, etc. The anxiety is so ridiculous. I can't figure out why this time it's so scary. Last time was NBD.
I feel like the weirdest weirdo. I'm sure it's fine. I just can't find my chill.

I am sitting on the couch. I feel like I should accomplish some things before I have to go into work. But, comfy. I have tomorrow off and can get all of the things done then, lol.

One of my dogs is literally sitting on top of the other one so that he can be against me with his head on my legs. Other dog could apparently care less. Lol.

Good luck ArielMermaid. FWIW, I didn't really drink any extra water for my anatomy scan? I did the first time, threw up and almost peed my pants and she ended up needing me to pee because my bladder was too full.

I had to pee last time too!! That's partially why I'm scared I think. I had to pee so bad I was sweating and dancing and basically dying. 😂 it was AWFUL. Then I had to pee half of it. Why was I tortured like that?! Lol

cornpop, ArielMermaid, AFTER my last AS the tech was like woah, your bladder was really full. And then went on to say how it really didn't matter for this scan. Like, you deal with pregnant people all the time, you didn't think that maybe I was uncomfortable and you could have asked me at the beginning if I wanted to try to empty my bladder?!? Not nice.

Our plans today include taking DD to speech, finish laundry, and packing. My dad is retiring at the end of the month, and my sister and I are throwing a surprise retirement party for him. I leave tomorrow night and I'll be back Sunday...so it's just a quick trip. I feel a little guilty about leaving DD, since she's been really wanting to go visit...but I know she'll be bored at the party.

ArielMermaid Why do you have to fill your bladder? I've always been told to empty mine as much as possible before ultrasounds since about 19w because it gets in the way of the abdominal. So I say screw the system and don't drink any particularly more than you would naturally. And pee if you have to. They can deal. Good luck today! ArielMermaid I hope all goes well today and the anxiety fades. I don't think it's weird that you're feeling nervous, even so out-of-nowhere. And for what it's worth, I've always been told to empty my bladder before my anatomy ultrasounds, so don't be afraid to ask if you can!

On our way to the city for dr appt and to get a roof rack put on our car ( Xmas gift from ILs)
MIL texts as we’re on our way and asks what our schedule is like and would we meet them for lunch....
Thanks for the notice ( they live 2+ hours from the city too) We have a bunch of stuff to do/get today but don’t want to seem unappreciative. Fwp
