My Peapod order got here at 6:30 this morning, and wasn't missing a single thing, so it's a win in my book, and I will definitely do it again. Josie is still sleeping, and Charlie and I are playing with puzzles. MH has a half-day so he'll be in charge of entertaining the troops while I get started on cooking for tomorrow.

Morning. I need to pack for our trip. Can you tell I’m not very excited? I still have to fold laundry. Ugh. Must. Get. Moving.

Morning! I'm at work. It's quiet here so I'm catching up on random stuff and organizing my office. I have to grocery shop after work and I'm sure it'll be insane.

Morning! I found a rug online that I love for our living room, I thought Dh would hate it but he said to go ahead an order it, yaaaay! Dd slept like a newborn last night, ugh... at least she took a good long nap!

I remember promising myself last year that after going to the store the weekend before I wasn't going again, but I ended up going Monday through Wednesday for something. I have a feeling, even though my order was complete this year, I'll have to run out for something that I just MUST have!

Morning! I’m exhausted. Dh tossed and turned and snored all night so I eventually moved to the couch. His fever is finally gone but he stills has a sore throat. He went to work today and I told him if he’s well enough to go to work he better be fine for thanksgiving.
My two little ones don’t have school today and Landon has a half day, which is kind of a pain in my butt since I have things I need to do today that I don’t want to do with three kids in tow. But I’m going to take them to the gym and hopefully they burn some energy while I get in a workout.

Morning all. On the bus going to work, the last couple days it’s been super cold and today feels waaay better.
Hopefully B’s teacher takes them outside this afternoon, or I’m going to have to have a chat with the Director. I think the teacher doesn’t like going outside so the kids don’t go. Not cool.

Morning. I have a pedi appt scheduled for this afternoon and I’m just waiting for the salon to open at 9 to call them for an appt. I really want to avoid great clips after the last uneven haircut so I hope I can get her in to my salon.

It's so funny that you mention that. I see a marked difference in the days that Josie goes outside to play. She's exhausted, but much calmer. And I've been pleasantly surprised that they still take them out in 40° weather. I don't know what their cut off is, but I'm hoping as long as there's no snow on the ground or rain, they keep doing it.

Morning time. We took munchins in for N's teachers since her bday is over break. Both kids have pajama day and my whole team is working remote...as is most of my floor. Of course I choose today to forget my ID, so will need to buzz in to get to my desk if I go to the bathroom, great.
The day before Thanksgiving has so many memories since I've gone into labor twice on this night. Bizarre-o.

How is C feeling today guster? Much better! Thank you! He still doesn't have much of an appetite, so I think he's a little off from that but hopefully my Thanksgiving feast will put him in the mood to eat

Is anyone else decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving? I feel like sneaked up on me this year, and I can't imagine pulling everything out tomorrow.

I typically have a rule that we don't decorate until December, cause November just doesn't seem right. However, C is so excited so we'll probably decorate on Friday except the tree (we get real).

@wine, I would love it if they went out to play in the snow, but I'm guessing because it's only a half-day program -- only 2 1/2 hours long -- too much time would be spent getting kids in and out of their snow pants and boots.

So true! I always think about what a pain that must be! Or summer when they all get in their bathingsuits for water play!

I am planning to decorate tomorrow afternoon. Usually I do it on Black Friday but DH will be working and I want him to occupy the kids while I’m fluffing the tree and putting on my part of the decorations.

It's my last day of work. One of my student's moms knitted a beautiful blanket for the baby. They are all making me cards and notes. I'm almost sad to leave. It's a half day so I only have 1 more class left to see. My replacement is fantastic so that makes me feel better.

Last year when H went to a different preschool they went out in the snow. But this year at the new school I don’t think they go outside after a certain temp. But her school has a gym that they can run around and play in.

FFWC: I already decorated. I need to put up my wreath and my reindeers outside, but the rest is done. We did it early because we needed to clear our storage area to put up wall board, but I love having everything done already so it may become a thing.
I am at work. Bored. Hoping to get out early. C has his Thanksgiving feast at school and DH and I both have to work and my parents are busy preparing for tomorrow. C was pretty upset when I told him we couldn't come. I really hate stuff like that though. I feel like it is a ploy to get you to pick your kid up early before a holiday and the kids whose parents have to work the full day feel left out. I'm one of 5 parents that RSVP-ed No.
