I’m sitting at the table drinking coffee while my niece is watching some slime videos on YouTube.
I’m hoping to make some freezer meals today for my sister.

Morning!
No big plans today; I need to get some laundry done and of course the Thanksgiving prep continues. DH is taking B to a bike shop this afternoon to have him sized ‘for Santa’; we were pretty set on the 16” but I’m having second thoughts that he’ll outgrow it quickly so I want to confirm.
Caroline is tearing apart the pantry in search of snacks so I’d probably better go feed her some breakfast...

I finished two good ones recently and have a third on my nightstand I keep meaning to start, but lately I’ve been absorbed in mindless internet browsing for birthday/Christmas/house stuff.

Morning! Josie is still sleeping I hope she wakes up feeling better than yesterday. She has her Thanksgiving feast at school today, and I would hate for her to miss it. Charlie is having awful stomach issues resulting in far too many diaper changes. Only difference in his diet is addition of cashew milk that I started on Tuesday-- it's only been maybe two or three sippiee cups full since then. I hope it's not a bug.

Truly Madly Guilty. It’s okay but not as good as some of her other stuff. I have a couple kindle first books I need to start, too. Do you ever get those?

My MIL said M is fine so far today. The kids had to spend the night at their house since M can’t go to school. MH starts his new job today!

You can download the kindle app in your device and read them that way. You get 1 free book a month and you choose from 6 that haven’t been released yet. Some have been good and some have been okay. You can also download the amazon cloud reader in your computer and read the books that way.

Fftc: I haven't picked up a physical book to read in at least five years. I want nothing to do with hardcover or paperback anymore.

I will say I did read a physical book for the first time in forever when I had jury duty since you can't bring phones/tablets in.

I don't know that it's been 5 years, but it's been awhile since I've read an actual book. And I love books. But my phone, tablet, or kindle are so much more convenient, especially at the gym. I do still read actual magazines, but it's just easier on my eyes to have the full size in my hands.

I have to go to the doctor today to do a follow up of my physical. I looked at all of my labs last night and everything is in range, but I know he's going to tell me that I need to lose weight to be healthier. I'm all for it. But because I know it's coming tonight at 4:30 I'd like to eat my face off until then. I want pizza and a roast beef and cheese sandwich and some really creamy soup from Panera. I won't do it, but I certainly am thinking about it.

Morning. It's a dreary day here and Colin woke up with poop in his pull-up, which fortunately is a rarity. Still, yuck. But both boys were in good moods and cooperative this morning, so I can't complain too much. I'm still getting RSVPs for Colin's birthday party and I'm having panicked dreams about not having enough pink cape and mask sets for all the girls. Because apparently the party is going to be a bust if an extra couple of girls show up unexpectedly and have to go home with blue or green sets instead...? I expected a lower number of kids with it being just a few days before Thanksgiving, but I guess it's not an issue after all. At least we'll have a long weekend with the holiday so Colin can sign all the thank you cards I'm going to be writing! Also it's Thanksgiving at work today. Only 3 out of the 5 of us on our social committee ever actually DO anything, and those other 2 are both out of the office this morning. I am going to have to bribe some random people to help me, which probably won't be hard since I can offer early access to the wine.

Good luck to your DH, tgrimes! I recently got on the Prime bandwagon so I read my first book on the Kindle app over the weekend. I haven't picked my next one yet, a few of the ones offered this month look good. If ordering all these last minute birthday gifts didn't make getting Prime worthwhile, the free books would.

Tmi alert -- So I have never dealt with diarrhea with the kids (just another instance where I feel like I'm parenting for the first time with Charlie). I kept his breakfast pretty plain-- he ate dry Cheerios and a half of a cheese stick, and a sippy cup that was 95% water plus capful of grapefruit juice (all totally the norm), but we were dealing with another full diaper 15 minutes after he finished. Aside from the probiotic, do I just let this run its course or is there something else I can do to help him? He's drinking so plenty of wet diapers, no fever, and acting fine. Ideas?

mwhip, I agree on the magazines. I don't read those on my phone or tablet, but my prime magazine time was during my manicure pedicures and that's been replaced with Podcasts and scrolling the Internet.
