guster it’s so weird, it’s like he flips a switch or something! His voices changes and he is a teacher. He’ll never ask someone for directions, I order for both of us in a restaurant, I deal with our contractor etc. Living my life! ETA: well, not the ordering in a restaurant, but I'm always the one to call for takeout.

The Waldorf school ds attends would probably fall in the crunchy category for most of you ladies, f.e. kids drink herbal tea and they bake there own bread every Thursday, which imo is adorable. However Dh is currently attending a parent conference where they’re making at wooden advent calendar as Sinterklaas gift for the kids. Dh is a very introvert person (I know weird considering he’s a teacher), he’s dying a slow painful death having to craft and meet other parents. MH isn't super introverted, but a tad socially awkward in situations he's uncomfortable. He would be hardcore struggling with that activity! I would be getting a lot of texts about how people think he's weird and about how he needs a drink.

I'm going to do that whole Mrs. Claus present box thing again, but this year I'd like to add an advent calendar. I've never done one before. Is it the entire month of December or just the 12 days of Christmas ?

Is it the entire month of December or just the 12 days of Christmas ? I think advent is officially the four Sundays before the 24th of December. However most calendars start December 1st, counting up to Christmas Eve/24th December.

Our first apartment after we got married, our neighbors had 2 retired grey hounds and I asked how they did in such a small place. She said they take retirement VERY SERIOUSLY! They do not move off the couch/bed unless you drag them out to potty. I thought that was funny. She even had coats and boots for them. They're such thin animals, they freeze. They had heated blankets on the couch so it was always warm for them. I was just about to say this. Apparently they love to be super lazy and cozy in their retirement. I have heard this too, but I don't want it to be the default just because we don't have much room, you know?

I failed the three hour. I’m shocked and pissed and fucking devastated. I Know this was hours ago, but I'm just catching up now. I'm sorry. I know how you feel. I was so totally deviated when I found out. But honestly, it wasn't so terrible. Please pm me if you want any info. Or for anything. I was able to manage my levels by diet alone, and I hope you can too. Let me know how I can help. But I promise, it's not as bad as you are thinking, and your baby will be fine

The xray showed a crap ton of poop in her intestines but no real obstruction, per se. Labs showed no real cause for concern. They want a urinalysis to rule out a UTI. Appraently the lab told MH to bring the pee back to our next appt. The dr wanted it ASAP though. So here's to hoping M will pee in a cup and they can take it to the dr before I need to go to the airport. A UTI would make sense since she holds her pee so much. Also hours late, but do you still have your little potties from training? Maybe just have her pee in there than dump it in the cup? I'd imagine that'd be easier

I'm still in the salon chair. I had to take a couple breaks early on. I was having weird hot flashes, I thought I was going to.vomit, I had to step outside and dip water, then I was drenched in sweat. So crazy. It passed after awhile and the girl brought a fan by her chair to keep me cool. So weird.

Glad you're feeling better.

Does anyone have these Crate and barrel dishes? Thoughts? I'd like to get my parents new dishes, 10-12 place settings. These are very affordable and I like the simplicity. Wondering if they're nice though! The ones I originally wanted to get them are out of my budget. m.crateandbarrel.com/dinnerware-collections/essential-dinnerware/

Same. I see one of my drive to work a lot, waiting at the end of the driveway for the school bus with its family. When it gets excited and starts hopping around, it may be the cutest thing I've ever seen.

wineallthetime, our dishes are from crate and barrel. They are simple, similar to what you posted, but ours have been discontinued. I really like them, we've broken/chipped a few over the years, but overall they've held up pretty well.

I had to catch H’s pee in a cup a few weeks ago. It was surprisingly easy. I hope M’s test comes out clear tgrimes.

klong11 maybe your blood sugar crashing? I just ripped off a giant Band-aide. I uploaded my resume to indeed and applied for two jobs. I’m all sweaty now. I haven’t worked in an office since 2004. Or interviewed for a job since 2001. I’m scared.

I would love a Greyhound but DH thinks they are ugly. It's also hard to find one that's ok with cats. And hearing a Greyhound scream (they did it a lot at the vets. Their big babies) I don't want to ever hear that again.
I know labs are nuts. But I'm ready!

xolastunicornxo I'm sorry. It will be ok though. Testing isn't bad and you will learn what triggers you most and avoid. Hormones suck and it's not your fault. You did everything right. Koko!

You’d think she’d have a fever and complain about it hurting to pee or something. But yeah, I get it. A diagnosis and treatment would be great.

I would also love a Great Dane but I can't lose another dog to arthritis so I need something more proportional.

My parents offered to pick C up and invited us to dinner since Dh is away. I left work early and went for a run. I just got to my parents and they aren't home from preschool yet. I feel a little guilty.

I like the idea of getting a dog, but the actual dealing with a dog doesn’t sound like fun. I don’t want to have to pay vet bills, find someone to watch them (or board them) if we need to go out of town, deal with accidents in my house, etc. I know the girls would love a pet though. Maybe someday far in the future.

My sister has one right now and they prescribed her the wrong meds. She said it no longer hurts to pee but she was still having some symptoms. Her other dr caught the urgent care’s mistake. M had a low grade fever Friday but nothing serious. Someone diagnose my kid!
