Bummer. You should get a couple copies of the key and then keep them on your keychains and in the house somewhere that your ILs don’t know about. Lock before you leave. True! It's the same lock that also is on C's door and the bathroom so we have to keep a key, but I could get a different lock. I still worry MH won't remember to lock it and then the kids will lock themselves in there though. I'm overthinking it though I think! But can open the door from the other side just fine, right? Like put the push button on the inside of the closet and use the key on the outside?

Some of you might remember the stories I used to share about a lame elephant named Nosey who was still being forced to give rides.
She's FINALLY been taken from her abusive people!
I could cry. Poor girl is probably going to be able to retire to a sanctuary now.

Maybe they could run some tests or scans to see what’s going on. How’s she acting when this is going on? In pain or discomfort? Fever? I think it’s def time to move beyond the pedi. I def think the ER and maybe a gastroenterologist should be the next step.

tgrimes some girls on genera discussion were talking about someone's kid who keeps having bad diarrhea for the past few weeks numerous people thought maybe a sudden dairy intolerance. Maybe try to cut milk and see if that helps? I would also keep a food journal for the next few days.

Oh no tgrimes! I agree with what others said. I think it's time to move to a specialist. Someone who can run tests and try to figure this out. This is too much. I also agree on keeping a good journal. Maybe you will start to notice a pattern Hopefully it is an allergy to something so you can just cut that out of her diet and stop this! So sorry you (and she) are dealing with this ETA I just saw this... food journal, not good journal

Hope you can get her back to the doctors and they have some ideas, tgrimes. Agree with wedding that did the time being I would probably try cutting dairy right away since milk protein allergy is the most common. It could have started out as a virus that caused her to develop an intolerance. I don't know if anyone will recall since it's been awhile now, but X was on a dairy based formula for awhile and doing great. Then around the time he was 4 months old, he got rotovirus. It kept going on and on for almost a month, and his poor little bottom had a second degree burn from all the acid in his stool. Turns out the rotivirus had caused him to develop the dairy intolerance, so he was fine as soon as we switched to soy. I didn't know that could happen but my pedi said yep, it's not uncommon.

You think dairy could cause vomiting though? She has milk every day so wouldn't she be sick every day?

I don't know, could be different for everyone.
Pete seems to have developed an intolerance and it makes him vomit on occasion now, not every time.
Can't hurt, might help.
