My boss is out, it's rainy and cold again, and I don't want to do any work.

It is Wednesday. One of my favorite days since I usually work from home on Wednesday. Yay for yoga pants and couch time!

Morning. Our landlord replaced the faucet in the bathroom sink with the kind that lights up when you turn on the water and DS is fascinated. It's going to be that much harder to get him out of the bathroom. There's also a new toilet that I'm going to have to find a different potty ring for and apparently they're coming back tonight to replace the faucet in the kitchen sink. I'm just dying of curiosity to see what sort of faucet they're putting in the kitchen.
I think I'm officially an adult now if that's the kind of thing that excites me.

Dropping to 1 nap is killing me! I feel like I don't have time to get anything done. How do you survive?!

I want a sink that has the sprayer nozzle to it. Our kitchen sink does not have that and I miss that from growing up....easier to rinse dishes. Especially since our dishwasher isn't working and we don't know who we can call to fix it-it is also very old.

Maybe I can talk DH into it if we buy a house someday.

So much easier to get food off without having to clean the dishes twice 😑

There's one in my kitchen, but it has almost no pressure, so I barely ever use it. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll fix that too while they're here.

Can you find a scratch and dent replacement or even search craigslist for a temporary one. It may be cheaper then fixing it. If you do call someone be wary of sears. They have this habit of telling people they can fix it and then telling you once they are out there they don't work on that model and charging you for just showing up at your door.

I'm side-eyeing them.

I always feel like I run a little slower on Wednesdays. It just takes longer to get everything done. It's probably my imagination.

I'm side-eyeing them. They live in FL, we live in their house, so I think it's partially logistics, partly that FIL wants to fix everything since he build house but then some things haven't been updated in 20 years so it is all breaking down at same time

sheilathetank he he....it's been broken since January. It sucks. Part of the reason is we have been too busy with classes to really devote the proper time to it but I really think we just need to get a different one based on how it broke but maybe if we can find someone it will be an easy fix.

I used to work for sears repair services. They could not understand why people hated them so much.

No fancy sinks in my house. Although the kitchen faucet does have a sprayer option.
This is our slow week at work. I have the flu or something. Today I feel better but the left side of my throat is swollen. I'm taking Friday off to rest.

I'm so jelly of your WFH swivelchair5. Blouse and dress pants and makeup FTL @letthewookiewin ooh new fixtures! DS is already obsessed with "washy hands" so a light up fixture? He'd never leave westiemom one longer nap is so nice. DS still goes down for 2 hours minimum every afternoon and we can get so much done. Even better if baby nap overlaps partially. When they are both sleep it's like I don't even know what to do with myself

I put myself in for Babies & Children (this section), Preg, TTC. I also put myself in for BMB.
If you know someone active in these communities that would be a good mod, go nominate! I just want to help out. If I don't get elected I won't be butt hurt.

It seems like such a good idea in theory, but it was the worst $200 or so we've ever spent. I was really happy when we moved and went back to a more normal faucet that you just turn on and off with a handle.

This week is really confusing me. Not only did we have the holiday on Monday, but my mom normally watches DS on Thursdays, while I stay home with him Fridays. She had a thing that came up tomorrow, so she asked if she could switch. Then on Friday I'm still taking the afternoon off, so that all leaves me with a lot of things to accomplish before I leave today.
Also, I found out that they're moving DS up to the Twaddler room at day care, so in the next two weeks or so he's graduating into a new room AND turning two - I know it's said all the time, but when did my baby get so big?

I have a massage scheduled for next Thursday-I can't wait!
In other news I was mean mom this morning when kids were misbehaving-hopefully today goes well at day care since it did not go well yesterday.
And bio parents schedule has switched around again with their work schedule so I predict more of the above....sigh.
