I want one of those faucets in the kitchen that you can bump your arm on and it turns on. My life is super exciting. We had one of these in our old house, and it was the worst. It seems like such a good idea in theory, but it was the worst $200 or so we've ever spent. I was really happy when we moved and went back to a more normal faucet that you just turn on and off with a handle. Why was it the worst? Now my dreams are ruined!

As much as I'm enjoying being home on mat leave, I keep losing track of what day it is. I didn't realise it was gymnastics day until after class had already started, so we walked to Starbucks and then the park instead. Leftovers for lunch, and now, instead of folding laundry/cleaning, I'm playing on my phone while both boys nap. I really need to adult better. Maybe tomorrow.

Chicken noodle soup for lunch (more chicken than noodle). And now some flaming hot cheetos, cause spicy helps the sore throat, yes?
I did not menu plan this week and only went out yesterday to get some groceries during my lunch hr. We have dinner plans on Friday so I just have to come up with dinner tonight and tomorrow.

Why is there so many pinned threads?!? Slow page loading has me clicking on the wrong things. Also, my phone upgraded something so my keyboard is super sensitive and it takes me forever to type stuff correctly. I'm irritable, maybe I need a nap.

Now my dreams are ruined! **SITB** The one we had would randomly go on and off while you were washing dishes, so it would start and stop without you even touching it. Then it would turn off, you'd try to touch it to turn it back on (because mind you, the water handle is also already pulled out), and it would just not work. Maybe it was just ours? We bought it a few years ago, so maybe they're better now. I just remember being so excited to be able to bump the faucet with my arm when my hands were really dirty, and it shattered my dreams quickly.

I agreed to babysit for DHs coworker through the summer. My second day and I'm regretting that choice. I have to wake up at 4 and I don't drink coffee...I need a caffeine IV.

I just realized I didn't thaw anything for dinner. Kids Cuisine it is... This is why bf and formula were so much easier. Adults not hungry, no problem! Just throw kid a bottle. Now I have to actually find some food for her to eat on a regular schedule.

PB&J or turkey sandwich is always our go to kid dinner if we're either being lazy or eating something he can't/won't eat. But he loves sandwiches so YMMV
He would also eat freezer waffles and yogurt every day if we let him.

Now I have to actually find some food for her to eat on a regular schedule. My two year old keeps asking to nurse even though he hasn't nursed in 7 1/2 months. On nights when I don't want to cook, I wish I could just give in and nurse instead of make food.

She ate a whole pint of raspberries on one sitting last weekend. I told her to slow her roll and she was not pleased. We are not pint of raspberries a day rich.

I think we need a thread similar to the "why my toddler is crying" thread but instead it be "why mom/parent wants to cry today".

Both boys have been napping for over 3 hours - What sorcery is this?! I'm sure the baby will be up to nurse soon, but I'm a bit worried about the toddler. I hope he's not getting sick again. Since he turned 2 in February, he's had croup, ear infection, norovirus, cold, another ear infection, another cold, and pneumonia. Please send all the healthy vibes our way.

Morning. Our landlord replaced the faucet in the bathroom sink with the kind that lights up when you turn on the water and DS is fascinated. It's going to be that much harder to get him out of the bathroom. There's also a new toilet that I'm going to have to find a different potty ring for and apparently they're coming back tonight to replace the faucet in the kitchen sink. I'm just dying of curiosity to see what sort of faucet they're putting in the kitchen. I think I'm officially an adult now if that's the kind of thing that excites me. I want one of those faucets in the kitchen that you can bump your arm on and it turns on. My life is super exciting. We have a motion sense faucet in the kitchen and I love it. You don't even have to bump it, just wave your hand over the top right underneath. But it is forever making me look silly in other people's kitchens.

DD2 has been on and off sick since Monday. She keeps getting fevers and not wanting to do anything but once she gets some Motrin in she's acting completely fine. I had her ears checked and no infection so now we just wait to see if the fevers persist a few more days. Overall she seems pretty happy and then she gets super cranky the next. Hopefully whatever bug it is, is short lived.

The problem with living where I do is that the weather man is often wrong when it comes to guessing if we'll have rain. When they call for rain, we rarely see it. When they say it'll be partially cloudy, we have a better chance at very cloudy with downpours.
I'm glad they rarely last long, though, because I don't own an umbrella...

So I've pretty much spent the entire day on the phone with tech support trying to figure out why I can't log on to skype. Apparently I was supposed to have log on credentials weeks ago, but they never actual got me on the license.

sheilathetank oh, I was just talking about 'main' courses. My kid would eat fruit all damn day. Especially blueberries and watermelon. And we are not pint-of-berries-a-day rich here either coffeecoffeecoffee sending health vibes! They are little germ vectors at this age, it is the worst billyhorrible omg, Occam's Razor for tech issues is the worst.

So I run around like a maniac during that time. Same. Usually barely touches 2 hours but sometimes is almost 3. Unpredictable. We transitioned a month ago. I'm managing but it threw off my routine for making dinner. Lately I've been making dinner with 2 toddlers and 2 dogs underfoot 🙄. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Plus the ability to go to the bathroom by myself during the day. Hope the transition back to work goes smoothly for you.

So we had to spend rest of WIC benefits for the month. On the way there I stopped at Victoria secret to use coupons on some bras. H and kids stayed in car. When I came out kids were like what did you get. I said stuff for me. Kids are like for Daddy too? All I could don't say no with a straight face. H was laughing in the front seat at that comment
