MH informed he was filling in for a softball team so I'm on my own last minute. Luckily they had baths last night so I can skip that. They're both still recovering from the long weekend so I think it's cartoons and bed. It's so nice out I feel a little guilty but they're very happy curled up on the couch so who am I to ruin their fun?

Having leftovers from the cook out last night. Trying to decide what to drink. I'm habging with a guy later that I've been seeing casually for the past 6 weeks and he's pretty great. I'm excited.

In today's episode of getting to know the morons in your neighborhood- Someone allegedly heard gunshots last night. Refuses to accept that it was likely fireworks. Chooses to complain on FB instead and freak out about the choppers overhead. There is a hospital less than a mile away that gets LifeFlight on the regular.

I had so much fun swimming with DD and my sister this afternoon! She's really moving through the water and can make the whole width of my mom's pool with fins on and a little more than half way across without them.

Y'all, please pray that I sleep well tonight. I can't do another 2 hours awake for no reason MOTN. I'll be up at 3 for work and then awake until probably 11pm tomorrow night. Insomnia? I've had it bad for the past few months. Unisom has been saving me. I'm sorry you're dealing with it. It's awful. I do struggle with insomnia, but last night was a 'wake up to pee and start thinking of stuff' and then awake thing. Ridiculous. I take melatonin every night and it helps me fall asleep. |
