I was trying to detox from all the boozing I did to get through my two week work trip, but I've been home for 4 days and already H is driving me nuts, there are ants in our kitchen and work is a nightmare. Tuesday is practically Friday right? I can start drinking?

Stromboli is almost done, I made lemon meringue pie for dessert. I may have added too much cornstarch to the filling, but oh well.

I'm solo parenting since H is working late tonight and I'm about to lose my fucking mind. Between the baby teething, the big kid having a damn attitude about every. god. damn. thing and now the dog throwing up...I think I'm gonna pour a drink, put baby in the pack&play and hide in the bathroom for 15 minutes.

I can't stop eating my box of chocolates I got last night. I felt better after taking a nap so I cleaned the house and now the ILs will be here soon

Finally come to the conclusion that malt alcohol beverages give me bad headaches. Not worth it!
Pizza for dinner because I don't want to cook after feeling like crap all day (not related to the drink lol)

Also continuing my binge of Private Practice. Season 2 episode 5 I finished the series last night. It was good, but the series was way more dark/serious than I realized when I started it. I'm enjoying it. I can't believe I didn't watch it before |

So remember how I mentioned how hs crown fell off when we got off the plane coming home from vacation? The dentist reattached the crown the day after we got home.. fast forward to 3 days ago when he has been in excruciating pain. He went to the dentist today. The original dentist from 15 yrs ago that did the original root canal never actually did a RC. He just shaved the tooth down and put a crown on it. Since the crown just fell off, he got an infection and is now actually getting a real root canal. I'm going to have a drink for him. Oh my god. Dentists like that asshat are who makes people paranoid about dentists ripping them off. Your poor H!! Yup and this particular office got busted for this shit after they did his. They missed him tho. |

I'm having a different one for dinner tonight. The majority of my recipes come from there. Do you have any favorites I should try? That one is one of them. Someone just mentioned the chicken enchiladas, those are excellent too but a bit more time intensive. -giant turkey meatball - the toddler gobbled it up -rice ball casserole -chicken rollatini with prosciutto -all of the chili |

I'm solo for bath and bed tonight. 👎 I wasn't planning on baths tonight because I'm solo but the baby had a bit of a ..... diaper situation. So now I have a freshly bathed baby and a toddler glued to the iPad. |
