Hi y'all.
DH made dinner tonight. Chicken, zucchini, and asparagus on the grill. Yum. It was so healthy I'm drinking a beer to make up for it.

My H asked me to clean out the fridge today. I had some wine left over from the weekend in there. I am now drinking it in the interest of cleaning out the fridge.

I have no idea what we're having for dinner. H works late but I'm not sure until when so it makes it hard to plan. DD1 saved her eggs and sausage from breakfast because she wanted it for dinner. She keeps insisting it is a burrito.

Also continuing my binge of Private Practice. Season 2 episode 5 I finished the series last night. It was good, but the series was way more dark/serious than I realized when I started it. |

My kid refused her dinner again. I made home made sweet potato fries and burgers.
They were delish! She missed out.

We're meeting some friends and their kids for happy hour in a bit. The restaurant's courtyard has a splash pad, so the kids can run around while we drink and chat. This sounds like the best way to bring kids out to dinner at a restaurants. |

My poor dogs are being subjected to my DD trying to put Easter baskets around their necks while she tells them to hunt for the stuff she has hidden through tot the house. I'm trying to make dinner while I explain to her to leave them alone. I have no idea how she found baskets in our house in May. A glass of wine with dinner for me!

I have a bottle of Iron Horse Champagne that didn't get drunk for my birthday and a pretty empty fridge after this weekend. Both kids will be at DC and I will be day drunk and have a clean house when they get back. |
