Is anyone else feeling blah and depressed lately? I’m not sure if it’s hormones, I don’t get like this with DD2, but I had really bad PPD/PPA with her... I seriously just want to cry all the time. It may be because I’m tired. I don’t know. Yes and I’ve noticed that it’s directly correlated to how much sleep I’ve gotten. I slept like crap on Monday night and by Tuesday afternoon I was a sobby mess. I was also irrationally sad and anxious about a lot of things. I finally got a good night’s sleep last night and I feel much better today. That being said, I don’t want to minimize your feelings and say they’re only related to being tired, but I can empathize with that. Might not be a bad idea to bring it up to your doctor especially if you have a history.

My mom is coming down today, just in case, and DH is being kind of the worst about her coming a day and a half early for "no reason." He's not big on guests and I'm trying to respect that, but I'm also so damn tired and I want my mom.

STM+ remind again that an increase in clear/white mucous means nothing. I am so not prepared for this baby to be on it's way. Things are generally pretty damp down there ATM. See: my yesterday. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's streaked with blood or soaking through your clothes.

DS2 gained 3 oz in 3 days! Yay boobs! He's cleared until his 1 month appointment. DS1 definitely had to return a couple more times so we are really happy.
DS1 is spending the night with my mom. Scheduled my postpartum appointment.
RE: Any feelings of depression or feeling down/not yourself, please talk to your doctor about them. Ppd/ppa/ppp can effect any mom or mom to be and you are at higher risk if you have a history of depression/anxiety. Also, I think there's a Ppd board on here too.

But no blood.

I’m hoping this being a weekend and H not setting his alarm so freaking early will help. Even if I’m up a bajillion times throughout the night, sleeping past 5 sounds amazing.

Good morning! I took myself out for breakfast. I just finished a huge acai bowl and am sipping a mocha. I think I will stop at the second hand baby store on the way home. H and I are going to the Melting Pot tonight! Ooh have fun! I love the melting pot but DH hates it. He doesn’t like cooking his own food at a restaurant lol. I’m a big fan of condiments so all of the different sauces are my fav. But I could also do just fine with a huge pot of cheese and bread dippers.

I wonder if I could convince H thats what we need for supper. And some cut up veggies for the kids.

Nursing tank recommendations? I prefer cotton and clip down without any cups. I like the cami style and don't want to spend an arm and a leg. Motherhood maternity has some on sale but reviews seem mixed. Anyone have one already and like it? I liked the motherhood ones because they didn’t show under other clothes, but they also didn’t hold up as well as the medela ones. Make sure you wash them on gentle and line dry.

I'm exhausted. Kids won't stop fighting so I put them in the van and drove for 15 minutes till they fell asleep and then came home and left them sleeping in the van in the garage so I could lay on the couch. My 5 year old only last 20 minutes which is good enough for him. My 2.5 yo is still sleeping. She needs it.

I am 36 weeks today! I’m just so happy and thankful that I’ve made it this far with 0 complications. At this point in my pregnancy with DS I was 5 weeks into bedrest with worsening preeclampsia, a prematurely calcified placenta, and facing a c-section due to SGA (couldn’t induce bc DS was breech). I took my last dose of baby aspirin last night and I hope things stay stable for the next few weeks until this sweet boy decides to make his arrival.

Motherhood maternity has some on sale but reviews seem mixed. Anyone have one already and like it? I have some Bravado ones. They can be more expensive. But I found a sale online, so try googling them?

So Monday our stroller break wouldn’t release, made for a less than ideal time. But guess what just showed up? Our replacement Baby Jogger! They shipped it at zero cost and paid for us to send the broken one back. Not too shabby for a 3.5+ year old stroller. Amazing customer service, especially since it wasn’t made into a big deal on their end, just what is wrong, which one is it, let me confirm, okay, email and address, and boom. Seriously amazing!

Question- who used a belly binder thing and if you did, which one? The one from the hospital is like a window shade - constantly feels like it will roll up on me.

It may be because I’m tired. I don’t know. Wednesday I was feeling completely overwhelmed. I mentioned it to my OB and she wants me to make sure I call or mention it to her if it either comes back or gets worse or just sticks around. I have had anxiety issues in college and thinking about being far away from my kids, so she just wants to get ahead of it in case it turns to PPA/D (which apparently can happen before birth too).

I've just ordered a couple from online in hope one will work. I cannot stand this feeling of rolling over in bed and feeling like my organs are going to fall out

Disclaimer: Also, I get this is gross and I don’t actually participate, but it was a whole convo in a FB group I’m on and some actually do this. Very OITNB. 😂

More expensive but definitely worth the money for me. They have different versions depending CS vs vaginal. Bellefit Postpartum Girdle with Zipper, Medical-Grade, Compression & Support www.amazon.com/dp/B004PBH7A6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_9tN6zbWMSBJ7JThis is the one I ordered. Be sure to check sizing.
