I think it’s problematic that elected officials haven’t been briefed though. It is their job.

I think we need to know if they find a problem with what happened after they are briefed.

The White House needs to issue a retraction to what General Kelly said yesterday. Not only did he say something that was inaccurate, he framed the Congresswoman in the worst possible interpretation of what she said. She did NOT take credit for securing funding for the FBI building. She DID describe her own efforts to have the building named after two slain FBI Agents but, more than self aggrandizing, it sounded to me like she was highlighting the importance of the move by how swiftly and with what unity both houses of congress and the Obama White House worked.

That would require the White House to actually admit fault and take responsibility for something. Which they, of course, will not.
