Fat ass live blog: my thighs have gained an ally in my bladder. I've peed a million times today and they rejoice every time I free them from their denim confinement. My stomach is also trying to join in and convince me I need chips. Not today, bitch, not today. dyyyyying. Maybe your rear should start a Twitter account or something...I feel like this could be a million dollar idea/15 minutes of fame.

I think your family is so immeshed that I personally think it's a bad idea to get deeper in. IMO it could be really unhealthy for you.

Chrisy, C is a terrible wiper. I think most N13 kids are M still won’t wipe herself if we’re at home.

But onto something more fun.... To join in the kids' clothes convo. I think B will fit into some of her things from last year, at least through the rest of the calendar year. We will definitely need a winter coat though. This is us with my B, as well. I never even bought B a winter coat last year, just a fleece, b/c we had such a mild winter back home. I've been looking online but it's been so warm here, I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I am really excited to get him some sort of little boot...chukka or similar. So cute.

peachsmama would you get any benefits with this job? Like health, 401k, etc? I don't need health. 401k we would have to talk about. I definitely need that. I appreciate everyone's input. I'm worried about the dynamic as well. I also think I could really grow their business though. I pretty much restructured it while they were on vacation lol. And they've done really well on their own with basically no business sense. They're making great money.

WTF, L! Are you working tomorrow? The fires are still going and traffic is a nightmare. It took me almost an hour to get from DT Fullerton to my house. One of my friends just got to her house in Corona after it took her 4.5 hours to drive from Fullerton. Yikes. Did you mean to say WTG, L? Or does WTF stand for something I don't know about? Or are you just pissed L can't wipe well? Lol LOL that was supposed to be WTG. I didn't even catch that! Whoops. Dude has had plenty of practice wiping but still doesn't do a very good job of it. Guess they're just not as coordinated as they need to be or lack the patience to make sure they're completely clean.

Ok, I'm probably jinxing myself x 1000 by saying this, but B apparently poops very "clean"? Like, I'm sure he's not a great wiper, and he always refuses help. But I honestly haven't seen a skid mark (did I really just type that? god, my life is so glamorous) in probably 6 months.
Excuse me while I go knock on all the wood.

peachsmama I work for my parents. We are super close and have s great relationship but it’s been a problem many times. I’m glad I did it (and still am working for him) bc it’s given me so much experience but I need to find a new job so I can keep a good relationship with my dad. All that to say, it can get very very tricky.

I had problems a few months back w B coming home from DC w skid marks now and then. I've really had to reinforce w her to be sure to wipe and LOOK at the paper to make sure it comes out clean. I've seen great improvement w her. I will knock on all the wood now w flamingo, bc she seems to have this wiping thing down.

I have a bone to pick with M's new school. They have early dismissal this Friday for some debate, but sent an email out a few weeks ago saying extended day would be open. This past Friday they sent an email saying the opposite. MH is out of town for football and I may have to take off half day now if I can't find anyone to babysit him last minute. Ugh... This is so annoying. What's with these damn schools lately! They are not working parent friendly...grrr

I think it’s because her poop is not ever soft. It’s formed turds. She is also very independent and wants to do it herself. She doesn’t do a super great job though because her labia gets red. It’s a struggle.

So people in my area of the country... yummeecookee @tallblonde...I'm sure there are others I'm blanking on...what kind of coats do you buy your kids for winter here? I'm looking at things ranging from a down puffer jacket--which seems a bit much, but maybe I'm wrong--to a wool peacoat, to a quilted barn-style jacket (too light?) Obviously I'll dress the kids in layers and whatnot, and they'll have a fleece or similar, I'm just wondering what I should be preparing for.

I don’t live in that part of the country, it probably gets much colder here, but I always get the ultralight puffer coats from gap. They are warm and are thin enough you can still use them in the car seat. Apparently Costco sells something similar (at least they did last year). I have had a separate snowsuit every year that were hand me downs and they are a little more bulky. ETA: this is the boy version of the one I get www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=1087508&pcid=1016108&vid=1&pid=839423012

We have a snowsuit for outside play and daycare and North Face puffer coats for other times. They aren't too thick but are still warm.
