Good morning, ladies! Thought I would get this started since I've been up since 5. It cracked me up catching up on the randoms yesterday and reading the speculation of when I was having the baby. Sorry I wasn't around to clear it up, haha. We had a great day yesterday. Went to the pumpkin patch and DD1 loved it. Then MH and I went on our date to The Melting Pot and that was delicious. Dropping A off at preschool today and then heading to the hospital. Squeee.
Hope everyone has a great Monday!

I am laughing that you started a randoms thread instead of your OMG I'M HAVING A BABY! thread.

Thirty-six weeks today! 🎉 It's raining and looking like it will most of the day. My midmorning doctor appointment is getting in the way of my nap/tv time!

My kid is still asleep. She's been out cold for 12 hours now. No nap and a party yesterday did her in. No complaints because now I can drink coffee and watch Rattled in peace. We do need to make a wegmans run this morning though. I was going to plan us a special last mommy daughter day but H is taking a half day. I'm starting to have feels about her not being an only child anymore, finally.

And just kidding. Shes up demanding PJ Masks in "the big bed" aka our bed. So that's what we're doing now.

Rain here too. We need it but yuck. DS slept well last night and didn't flip out when dh took him to school. So far, so good. DS insisted on taking my car so I'm stuck with DH's car, but I don't anticipate going anywhere today. It's gross out and I'm sleepy. DS asked if I was going back to sleep and I said yes because the baby makes me really tired.
Yesterday he told me that the baby is a boy and that his name is DS' name. I told him that the baby will have a different name than him because otherwise we might get confused lmao. This kid really makes me laugh. I hope baby is just as funny when s/he is 2.5.

H and I have an interview with the TSA this morning to get the TSA Pre-check. We've been meaning to do it for years and applications opened up last week and we jumped on it.
So I will be spending the morning in an airport with 3 kids 😬

My kid NEVER sleeps in and yet here we are...I'm awake and everyone else in my house is sleeping. DS's daycare is closed today for training so I am taking the day off. I'm not sure what we'll end up doing but hopefully I can figure out something fun. It's only supposed to be about 66* and I am so here for it!

quinn, there's a second season. That's what I've been watching. The adoption couple is on it again. So many tears!

I may have just leaked a bit. I went to go poo and a steady trickle came out from definitely not my urethra. It lasted a good like 30+ second too then stopped. I wasn't able to squeeze anymore out, but this is what happened last time too. Guess I'll try to take it easy today. Too early, body. Way too early.

We've had a morning down a soft play centre, I sat on a chair while H chased around DS, was fun lol.
Then had McDonald's and a mcflurry. (mild) GD you can suck it for one meal, I want a mcflurry.
I was waddling hard everywhere walking. Many people looked at my big ol' belly, H was rolling his eyes each time he went to speak to me when we were walking and realised I'm like 10 ft behind him waddling. I was about ready to throw the nearest object at him, he was doing it to take the mick though lol. DS was like "Mummy big, Mummy big!" ... boy I will sell you to McDonald's.
And now nap time!

I am at the point where I can't really tell what's going on when I pee because it sometimes doesn't feel like I'm peeing. It feels like it's coming from elsewhere. I think I'm just that much of a mess down there with swelling and loss of sensation that it just FEELS like it's not coming from my urethra. I can never get any more to come out and the lying down/testing for gush thing never works, so I don't think I'm leaking, but it sure does feel like the fluid is coming from my vagina. FX you aren't leaking and just can't tell you're peeing, basically. XD

misskilljoy, I’m feeling that way too sometimes. I also get very little bladder relief sometimes, so it doesn’t always actually feel like I’m peeing.

Woke up three times last night because of painful cramps. Contractions? I don't know! They went away every time so I shrugged them off. In the light of day now I am panicking and sterilizing pump parts, bottles, etc. and packing my hospital bag. Because LOL, why haven't I done those things?! DH is putting the bucket seat in my car.

Trick I learned last time: hold your belly up and lean forward. Your bladder will empty more that way! Especially at the end when baby is really compressing things.

I had some cramping last night, too. Conventional wisdom would tell me to take it easy today. However, my pregnant brain is telling me to deep clean my bathroom and sweep/vacuum the whole house. It's really hard to argue with a pregnant lady. I hope yours were nothing, but that you also get some solid sterilizing in today!

cnf, I am much like misskilljoy in that I have a hard time figuring out what is going on sometimes. It is especially prevalent when I am pooping. I could have sworn I was leaking or my water broke but alas, it was not. It seems like the pooping causes a strange reaction to my bladder anymore. But if you are leaking, I would go to the doctor. I know you want to avoid a million days in the hospital but the risk of infection is too great to ignore.

34 weeks today! We did freezer meals yesterday and I’m HURTING. Too much standing/walking. But we have a stocked freezer. We processed 24 lbs of meat into 8 different recipes. I want to make a list to keep posted on the freezer so we know what we have and what’s gone. And hopefully it will help when we make grocery lists to supplement with the fresh stuff, so we aren’t at the grocery store every day.

It's hard to balance the "put your feet up so you don't have a baby today" wisdom with "OMFG clean your house in case you have a baby today" mentality. Let's all find a good equilibrium and let librarylady have the only Canadian Thanksgiving baby today!

I had the sudden brain wave last week to use liquid chalk markers on the top of my freezer. They wash off the melamine easily but don't rub off by hand. So much easier than finding a pen when I take something out!

Hopefully if I am it's small and doesn't get worse. I know minor leaks can repair themselves.

Contractions here last night too but I don't really feel panic mode yet since I had 5 weeks of prodromal labour with DD last time. I also get the leaking sensation but it's mostly mucous, discharge and sweat (yay for swamp crotch).
It's rainy and cold here, but another turkey dinner is on the docket for tonight so at least something to look forward to.

I wish it was cold here. It’s rainy, but it’s 75 degrees and crazy humid. It’s gross. I just want to open the windows and enjoy it being fall, but no such luck. It’s supposed to be in the 80s again tomorrow and I’m already dreading being at work.
