Anyone have suggestions for nursing/sleep bras for large chested ladies. I'm currently wearing a 38G for reference. I'm looking for wear around the house types of nursing bras at the moment, nothing with too much structure but some support in case visitors pop by. I can't seem to find exactly what I used two years ago but it was really close to THIS nursing bra. I started wearing them full-time around 30 weeks and wore them quite a ways back into working as well. They don't have underwire so are comfy but also cover what is necessary. I am large chested (currently wearing a DD, although I probably should be wearing bigger) and have a comically large chest when my milk comes in. These bras fit comfortably.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon using my completion discount😬😨 We still have bottles from DS, but I ordered new nipples. Only 6 just in case she hates them. DD went through 3 or so brands before we found one she liked. DH also talked me into letting him paint the last coat in the nursery. I'm feeling defeated, but know it's for the best. Oh shoot, I ordered a couple things and didn't even think to see if I had a completion discount available.

cnf realistically how early can your Dr put you out? Sounds like you need a reprieve I have so much work I should be doing but my motivation is gone lately. 5 more weeks of work, not that I'm counting. Whenever I want, but I stop getting paid after my 27 days of PTO run out for both medical and maternity, so I'm holding out. I can apply for our sick bank, but apparently it's a fucking steel vault. Our district doctor will review your medical note to decide if it's truly a medical need. If you get past that hurdle then you have to submit financial proof that you need the financial help before they'll begin paying you. I don't anticipate qualifying despite them just taking my "donated" day to enroll me for the year last week, which is shitty. My last district was super liberal with their sick bank and I got paid for all 14 weeks I was out.

only at night though. Does that make a difference? I'll keep an eye on it and call my OB if necessary. My next appointment isn't until next Friday. It is common with ICP to be itchy more at night or only at night. I'm hardly itchy during the day. Not trying to be alarmist or anything. But definitely wouldn't rule it out because it is only at night. Oh, good to know. I scratch my belly all night long but it doesn't bother me during the day. Hmmm.

Totally still a thing and I went ahead a fired one up. My school gives every kid a laptop too so I'm making them do a research project the rest of the week. I just can't care to teach my own shit right now. I need to avoid taking time off though so no sub. I only have 27 days of PTO and I'm trying not to use it. Do you know about the magic of Padlet? You can set up a virtual bulletin board full of resources, give kids a research task and link to the Padlet, and set them loose to find the answers using the resources you curated for them so you know it's all there. You can link to videos, documents, websites, images, etc. all on there so it's a one-stop self-guided inquiry shop. I've heard of it but never used it. I will look into it tomorrow

I hope your symptoms ease up so you can make it through and I'll keep my fingers crossed you get approved for the sick bank time

Contraction have let up since getting home. I'm relaxing as much as I can with a toddler running around.

I was in the middle of taking a massive poop, ds opens the door, we have a conversation about the snack he's eating, and then he decides to go back downstairs. I say, "I love you" and he says "I love you too!" He's a monster but we will keep him he's so sweet it makes the monster tendencies bearable.

I can tell my hormones are all over the place lately because my mood will swing wildly over the course of 2 minutes. Like, I was about to unleash a fit on H for something random...and then DD said she wanted to sing to the baby, so she started rubbing my belly and singing the song I sing every night at bedtime. And so I melted into a puddle of "I love my sweet family" mush.
Crazy pregnant lady...party of one.

133/92 oh no! 🙁 Are you going to call your doc? I probably should. Calling during their hours is so freaking hard. He's only in the office one day a week - Mondays. And next week he can't be in on Monday because of Thanksgiving, so he's in on Friday instead, which is when my next appointment is regardless. I can call the nurse... I assume she will tell me to continue monitoring and go to L&D if it goes above 100 diastolic. I'll see what it's doing in the morning, maybe even bring my cuff to work to check it during the day.

I'm so much further ahead of the game and everything has gone so well, I'm not too worried. I know my providers handled it well last time. I could just be stressed because of how busy I am this week!

I have no desire to eat. Like none. In pre-GD life I would have just not had dinner. Since that isn't an option I had a bowl of refried beans with sour cream, hot sauce, and cheese. Doing the most over here, obviously. 🙄
DS1 is currently obsessed with the Berenstain Bears "New Baby" book and insists we read it every night. He gets SO excited when the new baby is first shown. I like to pretend like this is a good sign. Nevermind that he gets so jealous that if another kid at daycare comes near me that he pushes them away and sternly says "No."

Thanks for the well-wishes re: BP. Took it again and it's 134/93. Womp womp. So not any lower really, but also not any higher, so that's good! I suspected it was a bit off today because my ankles were swollen again. One day of higher readings doesn't mean anything, so I'll just keep an eye on it and look out for other red flags (severe headache, swollen face or hands, floaters in vision, abdominal pain). The vision thing is hard for me to keep an eye on because I had laser surgery to repair a retinal tear and sometimes I can see the burn marks. It's so freaky. I am going to start writing my report card comments now, though. And leaving my classroom in a state where it's not the worst if I don't show up the next day. Currently my class is a mess of piles of student work, backlogged marking, and growing collections of baby stuff my coworkers are giving me that I am waiting to "have room for" at home. LOL. I hope the bp stays down. I had that happen with my first pregnancy.

Omg. I got the whooping cough vaccine yesterday and my entire arm is so sore. I have a huge welt. She said it can cause a welt. Did anyone get one and it hurt really bad?

I pulled the trigger on a new bag that will double as my diaper bag...still haven't picked a name or finished the nursery. Clearly my priorities are in order. Did you get the Lily Jade bag you wanted??
