DH seems to be getting more concerned by the day that I won't even make it until the end of October.

blabbermouth, I think I've lowered my chances of having the biggest baby considerably by being induced 2/3 weeks early! In May15, DS was the second to biggest baby though lol

This pregnancy has flown by. Like I suddenly woke up this morning thinking I have like potentially less than 3 weeks until she's here Sorry what, how did that even happen? Only seems like yesterday that I was getting a little bump. It almost makes me feel like I'm evicting her before she's fully cooked Although the size of my belly and the scan measurements beg to differ, this little girl 100% going to be fully cooked by 37 weeks, she doesn't need the extra weeks. DS didn't need those extra weeks either so that makes me feel better inducing her to get her out. Is it silly to feel a bit guilty about being induced to get her out before she's TO big? I know she's so happy in there and I'm just forcing her to come out, that's what it feels like. Am I being silly lol? I agree with going with what your dr says. It's so hard to make these decisions when it comes to having babies. I fretted over my c-section v VBAC decision and I think I always will.

I ate soup for lunch (well a 9:30 AM lunch because 5 am work day) and now I feel like I am going to explode. I will never learn. But what kind of soup was it?

I've been having contractions all day now. As far apart as about 20 minutes and as close together as about 3-4 minutes with no consistency. I'm very uncomfortable though and must look it because another teacher just started asking if I was ok in the cafeteria. She caught me breathing through one but I told her I was fine. My stupid body is being so ridiculous right now. They aren't very intense though so I'm going to just power through, go home, and try to rest.

My mom is here "dressing" the baby's crib with the quilt and bed skirt she made. FX I love it lol. My MIL saw it and said that it's really beautiful so I think I will! I scheduled my appointments for the next four weeks. It's really crazy that I am about a month from my due date. I mean my belly certainly is big enough, measuring right on track though. I am unlikely to have a big baby (DS was 6 lbs 7oz at 37w 5d ... so only would have been 8ish lbs if he went to 40+ weeks). beefinch, I wouldn't feel bad. If DD is consistently measuring big AND your DS was big at birth, it's likely in your (vagina's) best interest to induce early. Your doctor wouldn't steer you wrong here. If you are concerned, push the induction date back as much as the doc will let you to give baby girl some more time. She may even decide to come on her own between now and the date you set up cnf I hope you are able to find some time to relax today. I'm sorry you are feeling so awful.

I hope the rest of the day goes by quickly and you can get some rest.

cnf can you call for a sub? If not, this seems like a great day for those kids to watch a movie in class. (is this still a thing in school?) Hope you can get some rest!

Totally still a thing and I went ahead a fired one up. My school gives every kid a laptop too so I'm making them do a research project the rest of the week. I just can't care to teach my own shit right now. I need to avoid taking time off though so no sub. I only have 27 days of PTO and I'm trying not to use it.

I pulled the trigger on a new bag that will double as my diaper bag...still haven't picked a name or finished the nursery. Clearly my priorities are in order.

I'll be very happy with an average sized baby. 7lb 10oz would be fantastic.
And then I could actually get some decent use out of the newborn clothes rather than just a couple weeks like DS was

cnf realistically how early can your Dr put you out? Sounds like you need a reprieve I have so much work I should be doing but my motivation is gone lately. 5 more weeks of work, not that I'm counting.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon using my completion discount😬😨 We still have bottles from DS, but I ordered new nipples. Only 6 just in case she hates them. DD went through 3 or so brands before we found one she liked.
DH also talked me into letting him paint the last coat in the nursery. I'm feeling defeated, but know it's for the best.

ICP doesn't necessarily have to be in hands and feet. If you feel pretty itchy might want to get tested. only at night though. Does that make a difference? I'll keep an eye on it and call my OB if necessary. My next appointment isn't until next Friday. It is common with ICP to be itchy more at night or only at night. I'm hardly itchy during the day. Not trying to be alarmist or anything. But definitely wouldn't rule it out because it is only at night.

Anyone have suggestions for nursing/sleep bras for large chested ladies. I'm currently wearing a 38G for reference. I'm looking for wear around the house types of nursing bras at the moment, nothing with too much structure but some support in case visitors pop by.

You can set up a virtual bulletin board full of resources, give kids a research task and link to the Padlet, and set them loose to find the answers using the resources you curated for them so you know it's all there. You can link to videos, documents, websites, images, etc. all on there so it's a one-stop self-guided inquiry shop.
