My kid is about the same as that picture. Her feet aren't very high up though, so I think she's got her legs tucked a bit, or she's in an L shape. No sharp kicks to the ribs yet! Daily hiccups are occurring right now. I walked to Walmart on my lunch break, it's like 15 minutes each way. It is starting to get a bit hard, it takes all my energy! Quite sad really But we're doing a 'healthy habit' challenge at my office where you get to pick something you want to work on and can win prizes, so I'm trying to commit to three days of exercise/moving my body per week. thatgolfb, it's a bit hard to tell, except that for me I can feel her hands by her head (I think) and it wouldn't make sense for her hands to be by her butt really!

Is the firm bulge usually the head? If so then yeah pretty sure this baby is breech. The firm bulge is the butt for me, and the HB was on the lower left side too. I can't really feel her head as much, like it doesn't move around as much as the butt.

OB found the HB on the lower-ish left side last time, I think. I'm just live blogging as I try to figure this out. HB and hiccups are my biggest indicator. HB was lower left for me and I know that baby is head down (my ob confirmed with the mini ultrasound yesterday). Hiccups are in the same spot but a little bit lower and I can feel them in my cervix sometimes. This youtube video is helpful:

Baby' is head down. But heartbeat is on the lower right side.
Appt was a gong show. I had a med student and I'm sure she was in her first year. She was way too dramatic, Bubbly and over the top. Couldn't find the heartbeat. Was looking up near my ribs. Finally she asked which side it was usually found on for me. Then when she measured Me, she got like 39.5 weeks. I was measuring 34 last week. She tried again and got 38. Ya no. I haven't grown at all. Then she did the GBS swab and almost forgot to put on gloves. Like remembered as she was just about to start. Like seriously. It was awful. I just wanted out of there.

I feel the most at the top of my belly too but the ob believes this kid is head down. In hoping it just means I have a long baby lol I keep feeling something hard at the top of my belly that has to be a head or a butt. It always sticks to one side so I can tell which side the baby is on, and I look lopsided lol. So I think this kid is still breech but heads and butts probably appear similarly so IDK. Me too. I feel a big bump at the top sometimes and hiccups seem to come from to top too. No clue what is actually what in There though.

I can’t remember where the HB has been found either. I will try to pay more attention next appt I guess. I am probably obsessing over nothing.

I filled out new patient forms for the baby at the pedi after the kids got their flu shots. It was so weird writing her name on things!

One guide I just read said if hb is at or above belly button, baby is likely head up... Pretty sure she found it close to the belly button. So IDK. I should stop speculating lol.

I am still mostly feeling this kid at the top of my stomach. I am getting a little worried that he is not head down yet. I know there is plenty of time but for some reason I keep focusing on it. Also, I cant believe how close we are getting to our first N17 baby! AHHH librarylady Almost all of the movement I feel (other than the cervix bumping) is at the very top of my belly near my ribs. It's his butt. He is head down and smushed way down in my pelvis, he's just apparently huge. All evening, I feel him swing his bum from one side of my belly to the other. It's... weird.

DD2 has been in the same general position for months, I think. I admire her consistency.

Ha ha sorry to send you on the crazy train here! Where do you feel hiccups? I haven't felt enough hiccups to notice them all coming from one place! Haha. I think toward the side? Not helpful, I don't think, lol. It is fun to speculate, though!

We've got a lot of October birthdays (mine is next week). My Mil wants to take me shopping for a new outfit, is it wrong that I don't want any more maternity clothes at this point? I would much rather she gave me money towards yoga classes or new running shoes for after baby. New maternity clothes at this point, are a tad silly. Although I just bought 2 new pairs of jeans yesterday. 😂 it’s totally okay to speak up in this case. I just returned a pair of maternity pants tonight! New running shoes is my vote.

I want something just for me lol.

How are you feeling today, cnf? Any better? Better yes. Way less contractions, less pain, less crabby. I mean, things hurt and ache, but I didn't wake up immediately thinking my stomach was going to explode or my pelvis was going to break. I'm good, looking forward to a three day weekend then having a guest speaker for four days. Thanks for checking in on me

Should i be concerned that only one of my feet/ankles swell? It goes away though today is the worst it has been so far (still better than most get though) but it's only the left that swells. Eta the right might be veeery slightly swollen, nothing compared to the left.

Oddly enough though, I did wake up to a contraction at 430 this morning and my first thought was that my period was starting. Like I legit forgot I was pregnant. Then my brain came to and I realized that was not the case, so I just went back to sleep. Bodies are so weird.

Just emailed DD's preschool teacher to get her opinion. She has been struggling with the adjustment of her little preschool program and she is finally becoming ok. I think today was her best day ever. She goes on Mondays and Wednesdays. I was planning on dropping her off on Monday with my MIL (who is flying in from out of town to take care of her) to show her the ropes. But then after drop off I will head to the hospital and probably not see her until Thursday. I wanted to keep her routine as much the same as possible but MH thinks that would be traumatic for her to be dropped off by me and then not see me for a few days. She is very attached. He thinks we should have her skip it Monday. I'm sure I'm over thinking this but it is stressing me out. I just don't want to mess up the progress we've been having with school.

thatgolfb I had a firm bulge at the top with DD who was breech. I definitely felt like she was breech the whole time.

DH said that he wants to have sex. I told him we can have sex when I'm 38 weeks pregnant. He said but it's better when we have sex because you want me. I responded that I will want him ... to help get a baby out of me. Silly man. Also, beggers can't be choosers.
