blabbermouth it's usually only when I'm laying on my right side. Baby is head down facing my left side (I think), so I think the position just keeps him or her awake and s/he just fidgets with his or her hands up by his or her face aka right by my cervix. quinn happy birthday! I want funfetti cake too! omg, so much fidgeting by the cervix too! It's not painful for me, just really weird! Everyone keeps telling me I've "dropped" and I want to say yeah, I can feel her tickling my cervix from the inside, so probably. That'd shut them up LOL! Sadly, people last time would ask me how dilated I was, etc. Always wondered why my cervix was an acceptable topic of conversation ...

I changed it up and decided to go with a new Lonchamp Le Pliage Neo, and I bought the life and play diaper bag insert. I have my eye on another gray leather bag that will DEFINITELY not tote kid stuff, so I figured I don't need two. The tote savvy? I have the large one and I love it! Yup! Supposedly it fits snugly in the Longchamp so should work well.

I am still mostly feeling this kid at the top of my stomach. I am getting a little worried that he is not head down yet. I know there is plenty of time but for some reason I keep focusing on it. Also, I cant believe how close we are getting to our first N17 baby! AHHH librarylady I feel the most at the top of my belly too but the ob believes this kid is head down. In hoping it just means I have a long baby lol Maybe it's that you're both feeling the babies' bottoms / legs, which are at the top of your stomachs? I know (thanks to the bazillion ultrasounds), that Baby A is head down, and I feel him/her the most at the top of my belly. Baby B is head up, and I feel more at the bottom of my belly.

Good thinking. I just responded so I'll see what she says. +1 to the nursing stuff! It's shockingly expensive. Yeah and I always see these really nice looking boutique-y nursing clothes advertised on my facebook. Or if you baby wear there are hoodies made just for that.

For those who are trying to figure out position: baby mapping can be helpful. You basically note where/type of movement you feel. You also need to recall where the ob has been finding baby's heartbeat. YouTube has some tutorials too.

I still need my flu shot. I wanted to go last week, but I had a cold, so pushed it off. Now this week, DS has had a fever all week, so I've been focused on getting him better. I need to do it soon though - 3 weeks until babies!
Currently, we're in decent shape, except that we need a new convertible for DS to fit with the infant car seats - we bought a slimfit, but it didn't fit right. Now we need one just available online - and to get it in and checked - before the twins arrive.
The good part about DS being sick is that my parents came down to help, and they've helped with getting the nursery ready. There's still stuff to do, but it's getting more manageable, or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Anyone here have any advice for flying in the middle of the 3rd trimester? I have compression socks to wear on the flights... anything else I need to consider? I’ll be 33+5 on the way there and 34+4 in the way home. Fortunately it’s only a 3 1/2 hour flight, Los Angels to Dallas. You might want to ask your OB about taking a baby aspirin to prevent blood clots. Mine recommends taking it 2 days prior and the day of travel.

cdnfarmgirl,GL at your appointment. I was told I get the strep B check at my next appointment at 36 weeks. Does anyone know why they still do this with a rcs? I was hoping to avoid it but doesn't sound like I'll be so lucky.

grumpycat that chart is exactly what I think I've been feeling lately, down to where the heartbeat was last found lol I think it's the "ideal" position (and pretty common for this stage of the game) based on what I've been reading. aka

grumpycat, that is my exact situation so it helps me think that baby is remaining head down. My OB yesterday said it was still hard for her to tell by just feel at my appointment this week (33w). I don't have another ultrasound until 10/13 so this is reassuring. I keep worrying that he is going to flip back to breech. Hopefully he is indeed head down and stays that way!

Let's add De Quervain's tenosynovitis to my list of shit wrong with me. Apparently it is also called "Gamer's thumb." Pipetting at work is painful. Uggghhhh. I swear I only had like 10% of these symptoms with DD.

It always sticks to one side so I can tell which side the baby is on, and I look lopsided lol. So I think this kid is still breech but heads and butts probably appear similarly so IDK.

Is the firm bulge usually the head? If so then yeah pretty sure this baby is breech.

OB found the HB on the lower-ish left side last time, I think. I'm just live blogging as I try to figure this out.
